The fact GGG isn't retiring means there are still intriguing fights to be had with Canelo, Saunders, maybe Smith etc. What's more concerning is Callum Smith, in his prime, best super in the world, fighting a guy Lemi beat up years ago at middleweight, an opponent who seems to have spent his entire career at middleweight. What the hell is that?
Are you actually having a go at the guy who just won the unification tournament? admittedly NDam is not in good shape and on a losing streak, it is a weak title fight for sure, but, you know...levels of things. Ndam and Rolls are poles apart.
I'm about as excited as going to my upcoming Dentist appointment.. and also I'm about excited as going to buy new tires for my wifes car next week.
I'm less excited for GGG/Rolls than iSalty, 22JM and potus are at the prospect of finally being able to have a go at Golovkin for taking a soft touch. They've waited years for this, let's give them their moment in the sun.
Nothing wrong with them. Brook imho was about the best guy in his class and on fight night was bigger than GGG. Vanes is a quality fighter. Neither are "soft touches". Rolls is a soft touch.
Why does GGG need a warm up fight if he beats Canelo like he keeps saying? Also why is the fight at 164
