As a Ortiz fan, its kind of exciting. Its also not too exciting because he probably will get brutally KO'd :(
I'd rather see Ortiz box AJ for 12.

This fight is exciting. I might even check the news next day to see who won if I'm really bored.

Well, at least it’s happening quickly. I was worried it would be another 10 months, half of which consisting of negoations with other parties that fall through. I expect a dominant win from Wilder, he’s a bit better and no amount of adjustments Ortiz will make are going to account for his age. He’ll have 4ish good rounds if he doesn’t get clipped and then he’s done.

This is why I don't like Deontay Wilder.

There are lots of prime heavyweights like Dillian Whyte wanting to fight him, but instead he chooses an old man with poor stamina (someone he already knocked out a few years ago).

Well, I understand why you are complaining about it.

But I think that it is a fight that I will enjoy, tbh. :nusenuse:

Absolute disgrace. He really wants that body so he’s targeting OAPs

This could be the slip-up. Ortiz is and always will be the smarter fighter. He knows where he went wrong the first time.

They'll probably pay Ortiz to give Wilder a quicker KO than last time, cause Ortiz is an old man who can be taken advantage of. Deonkey and his team should be ashamed. Chances are that Ortiz will act like he's done, he has nothing left etc..and Wilder will knock him out. Then the commentators will say 'Wilder has massively improved. He's righted a wrong from the first Ortiz fight! He deserves 60-40 against AJ!'. Heard it all before....we know the plan from Wilder's side.

The reality is Wilder's team can do whatever they want, but it doesn't get away from the fact that AJ IS a bigger draw, and will remain a bigger draw. He has more belts, he shows much more respect to people, he's the one with the sponsorships and he's the king of the heavyweight division. Wilder's side needs to accept that they aren't getting a purse in their favour, and they ain't having it in Las Vegas with corrupt judges.

Wilder-Ortiz II...two ducks in the same pond. Coward's pond.

Ortiz is a dummy, he will get peanuts from Haymon to get KO'd by Wilder, then he will get recycled against Ajagba and get KO'd again.
Should have taken the Joshua fight.

Wilder back to raiding mortuaries and retirement homes for opponents.

    Oh well.

I guess there are a lot worse fights that he could have made but I can't say I'm too excited.

Just plain pathetic from a champion, why the hell would he go backwards??? This stinks...
Watch his interview with Jim Gray after the Breazeale knockout, talking "patience and making money" smh even Jim told Wilder we dont want any more nonsnese.... FFS Hearn already said he can have 50% in the USA!!
He should've been screaming for AJ, or atleast I could forgive him screaming Fury again!!!

Whyte tried to rush AJ in the ring after Pov and got told by AJ where to go becasue he wants Wilder
What did Wilder do after Breazeale???? He got Ortiz in the ring and told us all to be patient

    Back to bums for Wilder................

    Undefendable.....

But PLEASE someone convince me I'm wrong......
