Douglas was far better than those two fighters and would have beaten Bruno, Rooney was a far better trainer than whoever was training these two despite George Benton being in McCall`s corner when he had his melt down in the 2nd Lewis fight and Steward in the first fight.

He must be reffering to Ali learning ballet to help his footwork and manage leg stamina while pushing into the canvas while not bending his knees too much, Holy also studied ballet to aid his movement, maybe ballet actually give you a strong chin or something!

Nah, Lewis was better, although that was Steward's work. Others who were better

    Willie Pep
    Jersey Joe Walcott
    Joe Louis
    Wlad (again most likely Steward)
    Tunney
    Schemling

Lennox lovely wife Violet had been badgering him to retire as well as his Mum. Who else was there anyway He'd beaten Vitali, Wlad went AWOL , Ike was unavailable.
Lennox retired EXACTLY the right time

Andy Ruiz Jr vs Lennox Lewis?

Are we looking at David Tua style domination. Or a Gerald Butler one.

No way, Ruiz has a higher fight IQ than those two and faster hands, Tua had quick hands but didn`t know how to get inside or walk Lewis down the way Ruiz walked A down.

He didn`t beat Vitali he was losing and the fight wass stopped on a cut, Vitali would have won the rematch.

Ali worked out Foreman and Frazier who were both far harder to beat than anyone Lewis beat, Lewis fought a lot like Wlad because of Steward with the extended lead making their jabs connect quicker.

He carved Vitali's face to pieces with punches when the fight was barely half way completed, to the point that the fight had to be stopped by the doctors. That is the definition of beating a fighter. Being up 4-2 when your face has been rearranged doesn't mean squat when medical professionals have to step in to save your arse from permanent damage (not to mention Vitali was tired himself and beginning to eat some bombs).

And Vitali winning the rematch is pure supposition by you. He couldn't beat an overweight and half fit Lewis so why would he be able to beat a presumably fitter and motivated Lewis in the rematch?

I'm glad you're back but you do speak bollocks sometimes.

The difference is Lewis boxed behind his jab and moved, he didnt stand in front of Tua or he would have suffered the exact same fate. Joshua needs to fight the rematch in the same style Lewis fought Tua. Pretty much the same height difference between lewis and tua and ruiz Joshua also.
