BoxRec ain't the be all and end all because Ruiz should be rated higher. Moves onto Fury/Schwarz later in the interview, looks up BoxRec to see he's only the 4th best Heavyweight in Germany so clearly he ain't great
"just cause the Casuals don't know Rivas doesn't mean he ain't a great fighter!" "Schwarz? Who the hell is he, no one knows him!"
This content is protected Hearn here says fury shouldn’t even be in wbc rankings after turning down a title fight. Well Eddie does that mean dillian shouldn’t be ranked in ibf wba and wbo ranking’s after turning down the AJ fight?
Hearn does have a point. Nobody wants to see Wilder vs Ortiz as everyone wants to see Wilder face AJ or Fury. However Ortiz as a step in opponent is fine, bar maybe Whyte or Usyk there's not much higher level step in opponents you can get than Ortiz, a pity old man Ortiz didn't want to take the fight.
I'm offended by that jumper. I know he was in NYC at the time but that's no reason to look like Big Bird.
This content is protected @CutThroatFade Hearns says here that the Joshua vs Ruiz card is one of the best cards in the history of British Boxing dont even know where to begin to debunk that one
This guy has no shame. The real tragedy is that his army of Twitter casual football fans will believe his every word. It’s the worst PPV card since Bellew v Cleverly II. Just seen the odds in the comments: AJ 1/25 Smith 1/33 Taylor 1/12 Buatsi is probably 1/50.
1/1000 that the PPV Boxthing Mugths fork out again - they never learn. Fools and their money easily parted - the fighters know it, the Broadcasters know it and Eh Day knows how to do it. This is no different to spreading shyte on a plain doughnut and selling it as a tasty chocolate doughnut.
I know for a fact I don't want to see either. Ortiz is old, slow already got his shot and doesn't offer anything to either's résumé
I admire Hearn's passion & he's a convincing salesman, but saying this is a great undercard & then mentioning a female fight first when running through it tells me this ain't no great undercard
