Is AJ on steroids or just inspired by Frank Bruno?

Aren't Anthony's parents from Nigeria? I don't want to be politically incorrect here, but I'm pretty certain that guys from Nigeria are the most built of anywhere on the planet. Take a look at Ike Ibeabuchi, Duncan Dokiwari, David Izon, David Defiagbon, King Ipitan, Henry Akinwande, mw Champ Richard Tiger, etc.

When Herbie Hide is the least muscular guy from a country, then you have to suspect genetics is a big part of why Joshua looks the way he does. It just seems like that population is prone to exceptional muscularity, and AJ clearly has the discipline and work ethic to maximize that athletic potential.

In terms of whether AJ is on steroids: I'm never surprised when a professional athlete tests positive for PEDs. People on the inside of the business speculate that between 75 to 90 percent of fighters are on gear. At the championship level it's probably even higher. The incentive to cheat is unbelievably strong.

A common argument by the fighters who are most vocally against PED use is that using steroids is equivolent to assault or attempted murder. I think that is completely ridiculous. The distinction between injesting a banned chemical, compared to a Billy Resto/Antonio Margarito situation should be obvious.

 

GENETICS. That is all until proven otherwise. California Correctional Facilities is full of "bodybuilders".

 

People from Senegal have better genetics in my opinion.

Imagine a Chechen/Dagestani procreating with a Nigerian/Senegalese......the genetic masterpiece that would result would be awesome.

I've worked with quite a few Nigerians over the years and they haven't looked no different then any other nationalities that I've known over the years. one was about 6ft with a average build. A couple were short to average height and a bit overweight. I can't say any of them had any of the exceptional muscularity that you mentioned but then I guess none of them were heavyweight boxers or pro athletes.

 

Only someone clueless on bodybuildings limits of actually creating muscle would assume "Black Genetics" a popular excuse people make for their favorite Pug AJ and Bruno where on steroids I'd put money on them pissing hot athletes aren't getting "Bigger & Better" steroids are.
