That's what happened. GGG did not deserve to win that first fight period. Canelo boxed his socks off !

You'd do well to focus less on me and more on the objective reality that you continue to deny.

We all know what happened. Canelo was in complete control of GGG for the first 4 or 5 rounds. He won the championship rounds and the middle rounds he landed the better shots despite being outworked. The "vast majority" gave close rounds to GGG so he could win. These people are in denial and refused to give Canelo credit for winning rounds. The Byrd card served as yet another destraction from the objective scoring of the bout.

You're in denial of what happened. GGG got thoroughly outboxed in the first fight then outslugged Mexican Style in the rematch. GGG was lucky to keep his belts after deserving to lose that first fight but was rescued by the judges. GGG benefitted from Vegas corruption, deserved to lose but got a lucky draw by two judges, they must have been paid off C.J.

    Exactly.

In the first fight Canelo outboxed Golovkin and at times made him look mediocre. Golovkin had some success in the middle rounds when Canelo was focusing on defense, but G didn't do nearly enough to cry robbery.

The second fight where Golovkin BEGGED for Mexican style Canelo straight up humbled him and beat the Mexican out of him. Lmao!

You know as well as I do who paid the judges off & it wasnt GGG 's team. No way in heck Canelo won those fights. He's a good fighter BUT not as good as GGG. Shame he's promoted & protected by conspiracy & corruption

You have seriously deluded yourself C.J. It's unhealthy to be that intellectually dishonest.

G had some limited success in the middle rounds of the first fight but it wasn't that impressive, Canelo was still the far more impressive fighter, and was landing the better shots even in the rounds he supposedly lost, that tells you a lot about what happened. The first 4 rounds, and most of the 5th round Canelo was in complete control. It was pretty much a shut out until maybe the 5th or 6th round. It's unreal to me how the judges gave GGG the 4th round, that was disgusting. The judges should be ashamed of themselves, that was an absolute pity round to give to GGG. It's like the judges were holding GGG's hand, any time he did a little better and made a round close they gave it to GGG. And he still couldn't win even with all that help, all that favorable judging. And his fans have the nerve to cry robbery, what a bunch of clowns !

GGG didn't deserve a draw, he lost, Canelo was clearly the better fighter who landed the far more meaningful impactful significant work. GGG was so thoroughly outclassed in that fight first, the footwork Canelo utilized had GGG in tatters. He looked like an amataur with no idea what to do in those early rounds. Canelo put on an absolute master class and these clowns try to argue GGG won or got robbed. What a joke, if anyone got robbed it was Canelo. Since GGG was allowed to keep his titles he wasn't robbed of anything. Canelo should have had those titles after the first encounter. But it was a blessing in disguise because we got to see Canelo beat down GGG Mexican Style and give GGG the beating of his life in the rematch which was glorious !
