Have to disagree with “humiliate” mate. Now you’re reaching. BJS best round of course was the third, and everything after that Lee was getting the better of him. BJS looked lost and gassed as the rounds progressed.

Lee has always had a spectacular chin imo, or at least could rally back from hard hitters. Take Jackson and Quillin as examples. I do agree with you in rating Lee high. Many people don’t know how good Lee was but he went through too many wars it withered him out. Brutal shots hinders any fighter. This is why I don’t put much stock in BJS’s win over Lee or Lemieux.

As Arum did, Warren too had his fancy matchmaking for BJS and the right timing.

Sure it’s possible to believe that GGG has a hard time with Southpaws, but GGG has a granite chin and would eventually stop BJS. We’ve seen it with the Eubank, Lee, and Shefat fight. I have no idea why BJs fans feel these fights show the best of BJs. That’s utter trolling. BJS tires himself out. Only reason BJS looked good against Lemieux was the pot shot and move, but in elite level workrate like GGG or Canelo his punch stats and rate against Lemieux were nothing special.

Again, BJS is a big hype job. I PRAY for the Canelo fight tbh. I’ll bet my account too. Canelo by stoppage and utter schooling. Without the Ingle Gym you get the performances like against Shefat. Utter joke and speed

99% of the time, you can tell how a poster will score based on their post history on a boxer. But yeah, HUGE coincidence he had BOTH as draws. Then again, maybe he just doesn't know how to score a fight....

Saunders beats DL3.0 GGG had the benefit of David's hair blinding him. Here's Legend B-Hop on the matter.

Lol. That’s a good one, “Linear Champion.”

If it makes you feel any better, I swear I have heard Michael Buffer say “Linear” in regards to the fight at hand in the ring presenting the fighters. I’m more than sure. It may have been the Cotto Martinez fight. Gotta check. So don’t feel bad. Also smartphone autocorrects are a best. I have seen auto correct when I spell Lineal it wants Linear

I can't believe how overrated bjs is on this forum, just because he schooled the one trick cement legged pony Lemieux. GGG would knock billy out, anyone who knows anything about boxing knows he didn't deserve to lose against canelo. Billy Joe was hurt by the sixth best super middleweight in Germany for god sake.Think about what Rocky fielding did to the fourth best super middleweight in Germany and then how canelo dealt with fielding and that tells you something surely.

Yeah but many legends and HOF’s call fights and end up being wrong. Be it Atlas, Roach, Arum, etc.. all of industry.

The only Gypsie I fancy is Fury. Fun to watch, the real deal. When Fury fought his tune up before Wilder even that performance didn’t look anywhere as bad as the Shefat fight.

Unless someone tells me that BJS had a D+ night for whatever reason then we can have a discussion. I think after the Oxilofrine scandal something went wrong with BJs either mentally or physically... so seeing the calibre that Shefat was...

Put it this way. If Josh Kelly or Josh Taylor we’re natural 168 fighters they would’ve stopped Shefat in 6 rounds or less. Easily!

It’s not like Shefat was an underdog like Postol, Indongo or Benavidez Jr. all to Crawford. How BJS couldn’t stop or constantly pepper up Shefat has me to believe BJS and the Ingle Gym was a real unfortunate thing. I mean BJS skipped a World Title against Andrade Twice!!!

    :dunno

    In terms of seriousness:

BJS : prostate cancer :: HNN : a high-speed head-on car accident (with airbag deployed and seatbelts on) :: Rolls : stubbing your fucking toe.

Lee beat Peter Quillin imo and he had great confidence going into the Saunders fight. This fight solidified Saunders status.

That didn’t answer the question. You said Saunders humiliated Lee, is that true?

I watched the exact same upload this week from my Apple TV YouTube playlist. In fact I was watching throwback Lee fights. He fought a 180lbs+ Chavez Jr.! HBO back then was still corrupt. Only because it’s in his name that the Chavez family got away with PEDS even in that fight. So Lee was basically fighting an over hydrated 168 fighter.

Speaking of which many people don’t know that the Chavez Jr. Canelo fight was almost cancelled because Chavez Jr. was having doubts. When there’s millions on the line with HBO PPV you can’t stop a fight like that. You can see the injection marks from Chavez Jr. on both his left and right arms for fight night. Surprised Canelo even allowed it. Surely some non disclosure to the press but many knew from those arms.
