great step up for Joyce. Don’t say it often but fair play to Warren, Gorman - Dubois and Joyce - Jennings two great even heavyweight fights.
Awesome, nice sensible step up for Joyce. We finally get to see him in with a proven, decent fighter. A convincing win here puts him a head of all the other young prospects coming up. We then hopefully get to see the winner of Dubois/Gorman vs Joyce if he wins.
Jennings will get pummeled but I know its a necessary fight. I don't expect that fight going past 5 rounds. I expect DDD to win a and get by a few scary moments ,I don't think he can out point Gorman so its a real tricky fight bc DDD needs the K.O here. Which I would slightly lean towards . No doubt Gorman also has the much better corner ,all points should see him winning but ? Not sure he handles such a puncher with good enough boxing able to do damage in short period of time.
Why do you always talk about resumes for? If we're going down that path, Who is Andy Ruiz's best win then? Dimitrenko? Franklin Lawrence? Who was Miller's best win? An ancient Mariusz Wach? Punching bag Duhaupas? Who was Breazeale's best win when he fought AJ? A gift against Fred Kassi? Amir Mansour after he got injured? Carlos Takam's best win was Tony Thompson and Molina's best win was a shot to bits Adamek. Take you AJ fanboy goggles off for once and realise that his 'resume' isn't that good compared to Wilder's. It may be a bit better than Wilder's but so what? It's a 50/50 fight when it eventually gets made.
Ruiz is late replacement who had a very close fight in a world title against Parker. "Punch bag" Duhaupas is Wilders best win after Ortiz.
