Is there any way for KG to win? In order to beat Josh an opponent will have to defuse his relentless attacks. Selby and frampton couldn't do it, and they're better than KG, correct? Nothing in K G record tells me he can do it. I'm finding it hard to look past a one sided beating for the ever loveable KG here. Is he wasting his time even showing up? Can anyone suggest different?
The KG fight is completely different to Frampton and Selby. KG is very awkward and doesn't get hit clean often. It is only 55/45 in Warringtons favour imo.
He's awkward I do agree, he uses little tricks to play inside the minds of his opponents, he l8kes you to bend to his will. I know Josh he will be very well prepared for all of kids tricks, he will of run over everything kid will be trying and has Len has already said, the easy way to deal with all the tricks is just be relentless. Kid will have to bring something a little different to his usual tricks and tempos to get inside joshs head.
He can always get a helping hand again the cheating little scumbag. Warrington boxes his head off for 12 rounds. Im never writing Josh off again, he has earned his stripes he is a cracking fighter.
The only way I see josh struggling is if he boxes to the level of his opponent. He was fully sharp for Selby and Frampton Cos he rated those guys and went in full of respect. He might not have the same edge against KG who he has little time for and won’t fear.
I think tempo will be the main thing Warrington needs to focus on. KG is very good at fighting at his tempo and controlling the fight from there. Not sure Warrington's normal tactic of swarming his opponents will not work anywhere near as well as it did with Selby and Frampton.
I find Galahad works very well off of his angles and uses his space well. He is good at landing the one twos and grabbing when he needs to. Frampton got hit with the big one early and was moving back in straight lines after that, often backing up against the ropes and taking everything Josh had. After JW caught him you could see his confidence grow, he was all over him like rash after that. In regards to Selby he seemed like he had no spring in his legs and couldn't get out of the way of what was coming, often like a rabbit in the headlights (albeit covered in blood). I just think KG he is in his prime and will be fresher for longer, I also cannot see him getting hit with anything huge in the first few due to excellent concentration which will mean Warrington might not have the immediate confidence he did in the other two. But we will see.
How though? Frampton couldn't deter Josh and he hits harder than Galahad. Galahad has zero top level wins. None at all. So how is he going to do it?
Galahad pulls out with his head in the air and Warrington has the quicker feet. When Warrington ambushes Galahad will get caught pulling out.
