What do you think that this PPV will do? Keith Thurman has been proven to be a big draw on free TV:
    • Thurman-Garcia 5.1 million viewers
    • Thurman-Lopez 2.9 million viewers
    • Thurman-Porter 3.1 million viewers
PBC/Fox hyped the CRAP out of Spence-Garcia and the PPV did 400K PPVs.

I think Pacquiao-Thurman will do in the 750 to 1 million range unless they scale back the promotion to ride Pac's name where they couldn't really ride anyone's name on Spence-Garcia.

Nah, days of PPV are over... 400K is considered a great success.

    It won’t do much.

People don’t realize that DAZN will flex a good fight for the PacThurman week. DAZN will do its usual PPV mock commercials.

It gets casuals to think why pay $75 when you can pay for a lot less with DAZN.

    PAC Thurman will do 600k

Hopefully it doesn't crack 500,000, the quicker PPV's die a brutal death the better.

7-800k. Wouldn’t be surprised if it hit 1mil.

Pac got a new wind and fight is significant at WW. Certainly a much easier sell than Pac-Broner.

I too would like to see PPV go the way of the dinosaur. I think Pac with Thurman who again, is a proven draw at least on regular TV, will do moderately well, maybe 500,000.

It is very hard to judge where Pacquiao-Thurman will place. I mean...Pacquiao-Broner did 400k (It certainly didn't, but we'll take Showtime's word for it with reluctance). So if Pacquiao-Broner does 400k, then I'd say 600-700k for Pacquiao-Thurman is reasonable. Any less than 500k is a disaster for such a big fight.

If we take Pacquiao-Hatton as a benchmark (850k at a time when boxing in the lower divisions was on fire), then slightly lower than that as I've said makes sense.

Pacquiao-Broner was a tune up for Pac's debut on PBC and was on SHO. Pacquiao-Thurman will be heavily promoted by Fox to a much, much bigger audience. And the fight has much more significance because it will determine the #2 welterweight in the world (I have Spence/Crawford sharing the #1 spot). It also has the storyline of Old Legend Vs. Undefeated Loudmouth Champion.

    I think 750-850 is a safe range.
