AJ, Wilder, Fury, Whtye, Miller, Kownacki, Joyce, Usyk would be much more entertaining and captivating.

I would have listed Hrgovic, but he's only had 8 pro fights in total.

I know you're already thing "Well Joyce has only had 9 fights!"... Well, the slow as molasses dude is already almost 34 years old, so it's kind of a 'now or never situation' for him. May as well put him in now.

Sounds really interesting, but it does take all of Joshua’s possible in-house opponents out of the picture. That would be fine if during that time the Fury or Wilder fights happened.....but yeah. That basically leaves Pulev, utterly ancient Ortiz, Joyce, and Kownacki.....and f***king Charr or Bryan as the guys who’d be in contention for his for his belts. And imagine who Wilder and Fury would be fighting in that time.

 

There's also no belts on the line with those names. I know belts don't really matter but that would have been the most enticing thing to the fighters, in regards to the original wbss.

If Hearn actually pulled that off it would be decent for fans because there are some great match ups there. However clearly the idea there is to keep Usyk and Hrgovic away from Joshua for 12 months.

Would watch but it would be a discredit and take away the prestige of the WBSS without the real top 5 HW's in the mix. For that reason i don't want to see it, I have been very impressed with everything about the WBSS, unless the best are fighting the best i would rather not see it, i would prefer the WBSS to continue to remain a prestigious tournament and hopefully grow and become even more prestigious to the point where the ali trophy is the most prestigious of all including any of the other belts. The WBSS has so much potential, production is already spot on, i want to see it grow hopefully one day the ali trophy becomes the equivalent of the world cup. Having all these belts is a complete joke.
