If Joyce pulls through against Jennings (which I expect him to) and a fight between him and Agit comes together for September October time, who wins I got Agit in a very competitive fight
I don't like that fight for JJJ as I feel Kayabel is one of the more skilful and slick HWs out there and is all wrong for him, IMO. If Kayabel gets on his bike and boxes like he did against Chisora he'll cause him all sorts of problems and he can whack a bit and appears to have a good set of whiskers as well. I think JJJ is too heavy at 260lbs and needs to come in lighter. He was at his best when he was coming in at about 240-ish in the amateurs when he was an energizer bunny/high output punching machine who would just wear you out with incessant pressure and non-stop punching. This version of JJJ might be hitting harder and take a better shot but it's at the expense of speed and I think that would be very telling against a slick operator like Kayabel.
Kabayle cant punch . Juggernaut would steam roll him easier then hes going to with Jennings who actually might win a few rounds before getting knocked out.
Nah he can crack a bit for sure. Rudenko is a tough dude who AFAIA had never been floored before, Kabayel not only floored him but he came close to getting him out of there. Obviously I'd be pulling for JJJ if it comes off but I've never liked the style match up for him in this one. He could catch Kayabel and take him out but I think the German is all wrong for him.
Kabayel is technically better, but Joyce will probably overwhelm him. Good fight though. Joyce in 10.
JJJ can win but it's just not a fight I like for him because of the style match up. If he was 5 years younger I'd feel a lot less uneasy about them taking it, but he's 33 y/o and it's a risky fight and a loss against Kayabel would be a big setback.
Kabayle is an arm puncher . That's why he only has 68% K.o record. His strength isn't punching power its footwork and you need ALOT more then that against someone like Joyce. His fight with Chisora I thought he lost and looked better then what he actually was ,which he was avoiding fighting and moved around but got tagged up with the actual solid punches. Either way Chisora in his SD loss was clearly not in best form . Kabayle also has not fought power punchers and won ,certainly not one with 100% stoppage rates like Joyce. Rudenko has not actually fought top K.O level boxers besides Povetkin ,but that's one fight . He himself has 54% K.O percentage. Most guys Kabayle has fought are way below the 70% K.O percentage marks. When and IF Kabayle fights Joyce it will only last as long as Joyce gets to him. Kabayle has fought about 5 guys with winning records . Not including Chisora ( I thought he lost that fight )........... The 4 guys with winning records had a lowest of 40% K.O percentage and the highest 67% . People can say Joyce is fighting guys coming of losses all they want ,hes just doing target practice and after Jennings , Kabayle will be added to his resume should he decide to fight Joyce which he declined in the first place . lol Kabayle has about a 10 % chance here. Take Joyce. It's Ovah
Kabayel's the most underrated heavy in the division right now. Better than Hunter IMO. He's a little undersized, but he has good footwork and a tight defence, and the type of sharp, pinpoint jab to make a lot of fighters hesitant to come forward on him, Joyce included. I can see Joyce winning through sheer forward pressure, but if Kabayel isn't overwhelmed by the workrate and manages to settle into a groove he can badly expose the plodding Joyce.
Kabayel isn't an arm puncher, FFS. He gets full leverage on his shots; he has to, being a smaller heavy. His strengths are his all-roundedness. He's not weak in any categories. Joyce is the fricken' arm puncher. Nonsense. Chisora was outboxed. At the time it was thought Chisora had underestimated Kabayel and put in a flat performance. In hindsight it's clear he just wasn't as good as Kabayel. Joyce isn't much of a proven power puncher. His KO ratio is as a result of not fighting particularly great opponents thus far. It's certainly not a very pertinent factor in debating this fight. And Browne. Rudenko has a top class chin. That's obvious. KO percentage is irrelevant when talking about another fighter's KO power. Possibly. It's a competitive fight. KO percentages aren't going to tell the story though. I'll take that as a great sign for Kabayel then, considering how badly you fluffed the Breazeale Wilder prediction
Kabayel will not fight Joyce. No way. He’s in a position where he is a fight away from the AJ lottery, what with AJs lack of available competition. He isn’t going to give up that belt, ranking and his 0 for peanuts when he can fight AJ.
Maybe. You never know what a fighter's intentions are till they hit that level. He could be like Whyte who fights all comers because he believes in himself and doesn't give a toss about losing. Not all fighters are cut from the same cloth.
You could be right, and hopefully you are. Great measuring stick for both guys level. However, 100k or something for a near 50/50 with Joyce. Or 50k for a 90/10 fight with a handpicked opponent then millions and retirement money against AJ in under 20 fights.
