Nah, I had it fairly close, like 7-5, but said it could be a draw. But that was the match that made me a believer, and why I thought he could take this one.

But get in here, man. Gloat it up!:clapclap:

    :deal:

You've been a longtime hardcore upper of Andy's skillset, this has too be extra awesome for you!

Also @drenlou Who's been singing Andy's praises for a while now. He should bask in this moment as well.

    What a glorious day!

I'd like to gloat but my book closed the betting before I could bet on Ruiz. But betting aside, I knew with Ruiz's handspeed and combo punching, it was a bad style match-up for AJ. Joshua has never really looked comfortable to me on the inside and that is where Ruiz was going to do his damage if he was going to win the fight. I didn't outright call for Ruiz to win (good call for having the balls to do it in the prediction league) but there was no way in hell he should have been a 10:1 underdog.

I'm still shocked that he stopped Joshua though. Ruiz bounced a ton of shots off of a shot Liakovich and won a decision. I was expecting Ruiz to outwork Joshua to a decision and get robbed (if he was going to win the fight). Or I thought Joshua would win a decision by boxing safety first behind his jab.

i actually thought aj was the best of the bunch. i think that shot that put him down the first time, took his legs. it was just on the right spot on the head and aj never recovered. the rematch should settle that doubt. im glad andy is having his moment either way.

Well done to anyone who predicted Ruiz Jr to win, just woke up to see Ruiz win so well done to him. Just kinda disappointed but it is what it is. The AJ haters were right about him it looks like and I was wrong so congratulations to those posters such as @CST80

I can understand thinking AJ is the best overall. However, Ruiz is a bad matchup for him.

Now that I know Ruiz can severely hurt him, which while I knew he was going to make it rough and difficult for AJ and possibly beat him up a bit early, I wasnt quite sure if hed be able to really hurt hurt him.

Now that I know he can, I think Ruiz beats him 3 or 4 out of 5. IMO its just a very bad matchup for AJ.

Sucks when the overall best guy has that one guy that is his undoing.

:abrazo: I love gloating when it comes to the more miserable partisan posters, but I feel a little bad for the good natured nice ones like you. Thank you Jordan.

i hope you are right, more than i hope i am right. i think andy is the most genuine, and deserving, of the 4 players, of all the success he is having. i would love for him to remain part of a round robin between all 4.
