Immediately after the fight, Andy Ruiz thanked Al Haymon. Not Eddie Hearn. Al Haymon.

Al Haymon, who brought Andy Ruiz into the fold when Bob Arum dumped him last year.

Al Haymon, who now quietly controls the WBC, WBA, IBF and WBO heavyweight championships.

Eddie Hearn said afterward Ruiz and Joshua will stage a rematch at the end of the year in the UK.

Eddie Hearn doesn't get to make that decision.

Congratulations Andy Ruiz, on a win that will go down in heavyweight history. Congratulations Madison Square Garden, for hosting another classic heavyweight title fight.

And Congratulations Al Haymon, the man who now controls the sport of boxing.

It would be crazy if Fury lost also.

Of the three fights (Wilder-Breazeale, Joshua-Ruiz, Fury-Schwarz) ... that seemed the most likely to result in an upset.

    We'll see.

Regardless, Dillian Whyte needs to join PBC. They have all the belts.

That would be an even bigger shock, Schwarz is not even on Ruiz's level, if it did happen it would blow the division even wider open than it already is.

Fury hopefully will see Joshua's loss and knuckle down in training if he has been complacent and if he was over looking Schwarz correct that and ensure he wins so he can go onto school Wilder in their rematch.

No he does thank Eddie Hearn as well. 30 secs into this video of the post fight interview. Hearn wasn't happy at all obviously.
