Seemed a lot of last night AJ was almost ignoring his advice in the corner and apparently McCracken didn’t go to the presser. Seems to of gone quite stale between them, wonder where they go from here..
Joshua imo has been chinned or dropped far more behind closed doors, that's why his style has changed. Hes not a force anymore looks not nearly as confident
I`m so sick of people who start trashing everyone after just one loss. In HW division everything can happen and fighter can have bad nights. AJ was shaken badly by Ruiz with that counter left hook. He have concussion and obviously was on autopilot mode. That why he looks gassed and not knowing where he is. He was asking his corner a totally nonsenses. He doesn`t know what round is it and he was saying why i`m feeling like that.
As said above I think Joshua has been rocked in sparring a few times, wasn't he marked up too at the weigh-in
Peter Fury and I’m being dead serious. Would actually teach Joshua how to move his head and use his feet. Also if that is true about McCracken not at the press conference then that’s disgraceful. Stick by your fighter FFS. No wonder AJ didn’t follow the advice he was concussed and Price-like exhausted.
McCracken is a good trainer but it might be a case of that he has done all he can with Joshua. I don't think Joshua has improved much at all lately and with a few noticable exceptions, things do eventually go stale between coach/sportsman - and thats true over all sport. I think Joshua would benefit from a change of trainer. Somebody that can develop his jab and fight management. Teach him a few dirty tricks too and to be a bit more fluid. IMO he could do a lot worse than look to Wladimir Klitschko for inspiration and advice before planning his next move.
Looking at the success of Ruiz with diet and tactics, surely Billy Nelson will get the call for new trainer
