I don't think it's fair to call it a "cherry pick gone wrong" let's not pretend like Ruiz was even a first choice replacement for Miller. Not AJs fault he was being avoided.

This has sent shockwaves through the division though! I'm a big AJ fan but well done Andy, you just smashed up the champ and now it's all yours.

    What's next? Immediate rematch? Unification?

If you count in the very close/questionable loss to Parker then Ruiz is seriously no joke.

One fighter uses sports psychologists and the other uses Snickers!

1st the refrigerator, now the HW division.

Wilder, Fury, Ortiz & Miller should all be a bit humbled by what Ruiz did & they all walked away from. It doesn't mean all of them would've won, but it has to leave a bitter taste at what haggling & walking away from the table has done. Or poppin' tests for Miller.

If Ortiz wins, wow, we should be able to get the next Championship fight to come along with ordering Tecate & nachos with extra cheese.

You know, I don't like a rematch for AJ anytime soon. I know AJ can bounce back but this loss was a fairly convincing one. I really feel for AJ but equally wrapt for our new champ.

Jarrell Miller should take note, should throw away the PED's start eating Snickers.

Should Snickers be on WADA's prohibited list, lol.

lucky they changed the name because you'd not make sense saying he should do Marathons.

If he joins the 4 belts together he can probably get them round his waist.

Funny how their are always threads here about how no heavyweight under 6"5 will ever be champ again lol.
Joshua is a typical big bully, most people fold or guard whenever he threw punches and never got hit in return. As soon as someone stood up to him and threw them back he folded like a *****.

Yeah, he was really comprehensively beaten. Maybe he was badly concussed and it affected the rest of his game, but after the first knockdown he looked totally awful.

He got knocked down four times and had the ref not waved it off, it could've been 5 times. I don't know the record for the most knockdowns in a heavyweight title fight but to go from undefeated superstar champion to getting dropped 5 times, that would've been a truly awful loss.
