That italian referee did not allow any infighting in parkar v joshua i wonder if it would make differance after what ruiz did to him...
Yeah, people who know boxing know that Joshua-Parker was absolutely inconclusive. Yes, Joshua boxed well under the circumstances and deserved the win on the cards, but Parker was put at a serious disadvantage by a referee who made them fight the entire fight at long range. The judges's scores were wrong too. Joshua won maybe 6 or 7 rounds, Parker won 3 or 4 at least, and a couple were even.
It was out of bounds... At one point the refGrabbed Parker's arm & yelled out the side of his mouth "Stop coming forward"
He was under orders not to give Parker a chance to get inside I think. If so he did a damn good job. He didnt give Parker a chance. Now after seeing what Andy Ruiz did to AJ you can see why.
It took you this long to release the referee was paid to protect Joshua? I already covered this immediately post fight and was mocked for my assessment. Watch as the ref warns and wags his finger at Parker for throwing punches at Joshua's head. lol classic! That second vid is unreal. This is why I am very confident indeed that there will only be a rematch with Ruiz if it's in the UK, and as we know Haymon is far too shrewd for that. Ergo, there will be no rematch.
I scored the fight 110 for Joshua , 118 for the ref, and 108 for Parker. Although there were a few close rounds that could have gone to either the ref or Joshua.
As a brit, I don't want it here in the UK. I want it in Mexico or Las Vegas. I want Joshua to be put through his paces, in an environment where everyone has him in the spotlight and he's got no leverage or help from officials. So if he wins, he is legit. No easy passes from me. Get your sunscreen and sombrero's kids.
