I'm looking for books not on boxers specifically but the actual art something akin to Joe louis's book on how to box Jack Dempsey's champion fighting even old Bare knuckle boxing self defense books would be highly appreciated anything that offers ring advice and training ideas is the flavor I'd prefer If the source was old something about all the strange old boxing coaches was truly something else but they knew how to whip a man into true fighting condition!
Henry Cooper wrote such a book, as did Floyd Patterson. As far as boxing instruction, the absolute best book is called Boxing and was written by Edwin L Haislet. At one time you could find it free online.
