When did Dempsey fight any modern skilled fighters. Dempsey would be so bad by modern standards that he could even beat Ronda Rousey.

 

All of the fighters back then casual child would be considered tomato cans by today's standards. It has nothing to do with how boxing has evolved. Boxing was in his baby stages. The guys weren't athletic or skilled compared to modern fighters. Don't be so stupid and native. Times changes. I know certain people like you need to live in your little fantasy worlds where your TV heroes were more than they were. Jack Dempsey was a joke. Leave that tomato can in the past where he belong. He was good at beating tomato cans in his era. By today's standards he would be so bad they wouldn't let this joke get into the ring. This is against guys his own 190 pound weight class. Any half way decent heavyweight for the last 60 years destroy him.

 

Lol he fought in the 10s and 20s, how exactly was he going to fight in the 21st Century? What we know for sure is Dempsey was a banger, and what we also know for sure is that he was a finisher. What you're probably in denial of is that both guys we saw last night can be hurt. If Dempsey hurt them, and he will at some point, he'd finish them.

 

Would Joe Gans and Benny Leonard get steamrolled by modern club fighters? Did the passage of time make their skills obsolete?

 

First things first Carl, nice to see your no longer fixing lawn mowers at Bill cox’s outfit lol, just kidding. Dempsey’s era wasn’t the greatest but it certainly wasn’t ****, I can definitely list worse eras, Dempsey is a far better fighter than you give him credit for, an all time great, Anthony Joshua is a phenomenal athlete and a decent fighter, but imho he lacks the grit to beat a true fighter, ( I think last night proved that) and for all his faults Dempsey was a gritty Tough as nails mother ****er, I personally think he’d be a problem for anyone in any era simply based on how brutal he was

 

Both seem like likable guys......I'm very happy for the Mexican fans !!!.........but one can't punch and the other cant take it... Ability to take a punch always come first, along with stanima....club fighters they are

Right I didn't know Frazier was God. I don't care what Frazier said. I am talking about facts. Not somebodies personal opinion. I started watching boxing in the early 80's. Nice try though. Also Rocky hit harder than who? Lol most people who faced Marciano and 190 pound Jersey Joe Walcott have stated Walcott punched harder. Rocky Marciano never got in the ring with a modern sized heavyweight. He fought Big Bill Wilson. We all know he was a modern skilled fighter right? Bob Fitzsimmons started boxing in the 1890s you clueless sad casual fan. I feel sorry for people like you. You clearly have severe mental issues. You actually think boxers from the 1890s were as skilled as modern boxers? Yeah you aren't even a casual boxing fan. You are just some guy who has severe mental disabilities.

Jack Dempsey was trash. He was good for his little trash era fighting other trash. Rocky Marciano was trash who was good at beating up old men in this trash era. Bob Fitzsimmons was even bigger trash who fought in a even bigger joke era. None of these guys were modern sized heavyweights and neither of them fought modern sized heavyweights with had modern skills. You are so sad and slow that you tried to use Joe Frazier said any man who is 200 pounds could knock any other 200 pound fighter right? Rocky Marciano was never 200 pounds. Neither was Dempsey lol.

But anyway like I typed Floyd Mayweather Jr could knock out Rocky Marciano because weight classes don't matter. Pernell Whitaker could knock out Jack Dempsey because size doesn't matter.

 

If you want to be clever and witty then maybe ask somebody else to come up with your jokes. Because this is just sad. Lol but you do still think tomato can Jack Dempsey could beat modern sized and skilled fighters.
