What??? The ancient Briggs vitali fought. Wow. Maybe the Lewis version that was smashed about 10 years prior
You could only come up with ancient Briggs hahaha. I don’t need to reply to you now based on that ridiculous statement
Na i like Wlad klitschko. An actual ATG. Facts show vitali falls way short. You couldn’t even back up your arguement haha. Cheers, too easy. Bye
Egg brain is a moron who comes into entirely unrelated threads to troll about his hatred of Vitali. When it's actually partially ABOUT Vitali like this thread, he will go on for extended periods with his drivel. Wilders resume is starting to get better, he's right in that, but it's still not even as good as Vitalis second reign, which itself is only half of Vits resume.
I have noticed that most of the long reigning heavyweight champions are smart guys like the Klitchko's, Lennox Lewis, Larry Holmes and Ali. AJ and Wilder's intelligence put together doesn't match any of these men.
big issue with Wilder is he fought absolutely no one on his way up. most padded record in ages. Then as a belt holder "he's not the champ" he took several absurdly bad defenses. Molina, Stiverne 2, Arreola, even Szpilka and Duhaupass were not great. So his record is very soft and his defenses aren't great which makes the number of his defenses deceptive to the casual fan.
Let's do all 10 title fights of Wilders only reign and Vits second: Best win: Vits win over Peter solidly better than Wilders win over Ortiz. I'm generous saying it was only solidly better, by resume, Peter was night and day better than Ortiz. 2nd best win: Vits win over Adamek, commonly considered the 2nd best non K of that year, was at least as good as Wilders win over Stiverne and probably better. Adamek had a much better resume than Stiverne, and is probably taller than Stiverne, since you are ragging his size. 3rd and 4th best wins: Gomez and Arreola for Vit were considerably better than Washington and Duhaupas for Wilder. Both Vit victims were clear top 10 HWs, and ranked as such by Ring. I had Washington as a fringe top 10 HW at the time, but he wasn't ranked as such by Ring and in retrospect doesn't appear to have been a legit top ten guy. Duhaupas might have been fringe top 15 at best. 5 best win. Chisora for Vit and Spilka for Wilder, another clear advantage for Vit. Chisora is a top 10 HW contender for this decade among those who have never held a belt. Spilka isn't. Chisora had just gotten robbed against top 5 at the time Helenius, and really deseerved to be top 10 ranked. Spilzka might have been top 15 at best, but probably not even. 6-9. Briggs, Johnson, Charr about the level of Molina, shot Arreola, and shot Stiverne. On wins alone, Vits second reign alone is indisputably better, from a rational perspective, than Wilders (although someone as biased as you will of course dispute that as effectively as they would dispute that a week has 7 days in it). The one thing that closes the gap a bit is Wilder got a draw against Fury, who is a better opponent than any Vit faced in his second reign. But most thought Wilder lost that fight. And regardless, it's not enough to even up a quite large discrepancy between the two reigns.
You do know Vitali was 39 and roided up Briggs was 38 in that fight right?? Lol This content is protected All the roids he could get his hands on didn’t help him Look at how the ***** Briggs is acting at the weigh in here. Roided out of his ****ing mind! This content is protected And Briggs dumb as a rock trainer... “Punch him in da mouf champ!!” Lol
@andrewa1 I have an odd question. But, does the 'wa' in your name stand for Washington? Youre not the Andre I knew are you?
It was when Lewis missed a right hand and caught Vitaly on the eye. You obviously haven't watched it properly if you think it was a peach of a right hand.
Nope, sorry. Andrew, middle initial, number 1. I had a college assigned email that way once and thought it was a good name for forums
