Maybe 19 stone is his ideal weight, he might have been even heavier on the night because he looks like he hasn't missed many meals.

Because he's been heavily media trained, they know that appearing sportsmanlike and magnanimous is the best approach as he's so lucrative commercially. Definitely looks better for his corporate sponsors.

Inside he was probably furious with himself but can't show that.

I don't think he was acting strange after, he was very respectful and wanted it to be Ruizs night and not take any attention away from him.
Much respect to Joshua for that.

People either like or dislike a boxer. Being happy he is no longer a world champ isn't any sort of bad behavior or Schadenfreude, it's just a personal preference, and nobody thinks this is a bad thing in any other sports, so get off the high horse.

The punches Fury took from Wilder looked several times heavier and more explosive, yet quitting never crossed into Fury's mind, he was always ready to fight after the referee's count. Joshua, not so much.

Absolutely. How you recover from a big shot in boxing is vital, especially at heavyweight. Not only how you're conditioned, but how you react to being hurt and knowing what to do to buy yourself a breather. That's why Saturday night is a big worry for AJ, he had several rounds to recover and adapt.

I don’t think he quit as such, but the fight was totally beaten out of him. He spat his gum shield out and walked to the corner but I believe he was that concussed he couldn’t register what the ref was saying to him.

Whilst he didn’t quit, his natural instinct wasn’t to go to the well & give it everything he had. In comparison to Fury, look how he’d just been floored...he got up, bouncing about and wanting to put it straight on back on Wilder. Joshua on the other hand, didn’t have that enthusiasm to put it back on Ruiz.

I won't deny that AJ had the fight beaten out of.him, but surely we are.all built differently and have different powers of recouperation/recovery,

He was in bad shape mentally and physically after that last knockdown which explains his body language and coherency. But I don't agree he was standing there wanting to run away or quit like boy.

I will always support a fighter i`m a fan of. The people who turn on fighters on night note is not a fan and was never been. They just stick to a fighter that is the today news. If he lose they will jump on to the next one.

Yes, he's currently taking solace from the fact Anthony Joshua is the greatest PPV thief of all time!
