Courtesy of 305th who's brought this news, it's now reported that Joshua **** his pants in his dressing room and Eddie Hearn had to convince him to walk out to fight.

The heavyweight champion of the world, needing a silver spooned slimy double dealing promoter to convince him to fight.

    Let that sink

Can you imagine Lewis, Tyson or even Wlad having a panic attack on fight night and needing to be coaxed into entering the ring on fight night?

Because I called it previously as to why there was a delay with the ring walk in another thread.

Rather than showing somebody that says Joshuas dad had a panic attack and its been made public couldnt you just show Joshuas dad doing this in public?

Haha gotta love all these rumours. The best one is “Kabayel knocked AJ spark out weeks before” - Kabayel wasn’t even a sparring partner for AJ. What’s next?

    Read it again properly.

It's confirmed Joshua suffered a panic attack in his dressing room, because he didn't feel ready for his US debut.

Yeah I heard that one but it was from WBN and theyre a bit suspect. So Kabayel wasn't a sparring partner.

That may be true...he seemed really relieved after the fight, so maybe that is true. I will say that AJ is not a stupid guy, he seems to be very self aware, very at peace with himself, I suspect if he weren't fit to fight, he wouldn't fight.

If true, Eddie was still right. It would have been more embarrassing for AJ to pull out of a fight because of a panic attack than to lose by devastating ko. I guess technically his record would be better, but you can't just call off an event like that and make up a lie. It gets found out, and that would be bad. We can debate about whether it should, but this sport doesn't tolerate mental health excuses like that. Plus, AJ did good until he dove in for the ko, not really sure you can blame it on the panic attack. It at least had more to do with Ruiz taking it to AJ than AJ's panic attack.

If this story has any truth to it than Joshua needs to retire and forget about boxing before he truly gets hurt in the ring. I think we all know what Cus D Amato had to say regarding fear and obviously Joshua can't control it.

What sort of a champion has a panic attack? It tells you how over rated he was in the end
