If panic attack is true : The pressure finally got to him. Madison Square Garden. I have sympathy for anyone, ANYONE, who suffers a panic attack. Not a good thing to go through. It's not the kind of thing undefeated champions who are trained to perfection should be suffering though. This isn't like Tyson Fury quit boxing, drinking, doing coke and having depression and panic attacks during his lay-off. This is, in many ways, more serious. This was caused by boxing and the pressures of being built up into something he isn't. Eddie Hearn's fault ...... LOL
Well Wlad was knocked out 4 times in his career at that point. Wlad was also 41. I doubt AJ will retire. He will probably fight Ruiz again. If he loses again then he would probably retire. But not after just one lost.
More likely, nothing like that happened. Most likely Joshua was just the same as usual until he got beaten up by a better fighter. The panic attack occurred when a fat kid started beating the crap out of him in New York city.
No excuses offered by AJ, so conspiracy theories prevail from others, MSG isn't near a grassy knoll is it? AJ lost, end of, bad day at the office and/or indeed in the gym. AJ at present is yesterdays man, Ruiz has the crown that he won fair and square, so until AJ returns to the squared circle he is just a possible contender, Ruiz is the man with the belts, he is the Champ.
I agree with that, but my point is something needs to change. He is still young enough where he can add new wrinkles to his game. It's not like once you turn 25 you are no longer able to learn anything new. Look at how Pacman changed his game late in his career. I do agree with you that Joshua doesn't have the greatest of brains, but if he gets the right trainer who is able to get through to him, it may click at some point. Surely it couldn't hurt following what we saw Saturday.
Putting aside all the machoism, a panic attack is a serious condition temporarily messing up your senses, heart rate, body control and metabolism. If there indeed was one, it don't matter how he got to that point and what happened before. You just don't walk off a serious panic attack in a few minutes and sing everything is awesome.
This content is protected Just accept Ruiz was the better fighter on the night. There is no need to look for conspiracy theories.
