Too many people on here and in the media - searching - SEARCHING - for some "hidden" reason why AJ lost.

Listen - Ruiz has several attributes that gave him that win and have given him wins over many big men. Here they are-
    -Fast hands
    -Granite chin
-Hits HARD with both fists. (Parker said he thinks it was the hardest he was ever hit).
-Bold counter-punching (as in FEARLESS but not reckless)
    -Good ring IQ
-Was not over-awed by the occasion in any way

Can Ruiz beat other tall HWs with those attributes? Absolutely! (But maybe not Fury).

    GIVE THE GUY SOME CREDIT.

Ihope Oscar &Canelo were watching when Andy Ruiz destroyed Antony Joshua to take his titles. thats the way to beat the champ and take his titles NOT by corruption and very suspect judging.

I forgot to add that Ruiz's TIMING was great - and his ability to back up the bigger man

They don't want to give Ruiz any credit. He lost because of panic attacks bro!

Ruiz is better than advertised, and Joshua is worse than advertised.

    Simple as that.

Ruiz won them titles fair and square, i as a Brit have no intention of supporting any excuses offered for AJs loss, as i have said before Dempseys quote sums my view up:
"You know what a champion is? A champion is someone who's ready when the gong rings - not just before, not just after - but when it rings"

That is very true, Ruiz was ready when that first bell rang, he brought his A game and won.

Ruiz is the World Heavyweight Champion, that is a helluva thing to achieve, his name will deservedly be indelibly written in annals of boxing history.

Before the fight - Kevin Barry warned the media of the exact dangers of Ruiz that we are talking about. Go to 7:56 mins in the video below-

I would love to give %100 credit to Ruiz but he has never been known as a ko puncher which leads me to believe a. Joshua has a horrendous chin. b. Ruiz caught him on the temples which Joshua never recovered (which leads me to ask can Ruiz duplicate that against Joshua or Wilder and if not can he avoid getting ko'd and win a decision?) c. Ruiz became a k.o puncher overnight. d. Ruiz just outclassed Joshua and capitalized on the mistake Joshua made of rushing Ruiz after the first knockdown in round 3.

I'm leaning toward Ruiz outclassed and outsmarted Joshua now the question becomes can Joshua fight smarter in a rematch and avoid getting ko'd going in for the kill?

I watched the Parker fight yesterday, Ruiz is an explosive counter puncher with a granite chin. Joshua wasn’t a fluke/lucky performance. Ruiz was supremely confident going into the fight with Joshua for a reason. Ruiz is the real deal, I followed him early on then lost track of what he was doing until he was named for Joshua. I agree that he would likely beat everyone apart from Fury (and maybe Usyk).
