A bit harsh but I understand where you are coming from.

If he only connected with the public and fans more, instead of all this hype BS etc being rammed down peoples throats from mismatchroom.

Sadly he will never be adored like Bruno or Cooper were either.

Imagine the press conference if AJ has Klitschko as trainer if he fights Fury

No...I'm saying the lengths that you're going to try and discredit the next man because AJ got sparked out is astonishing. Maybe you can dig out some sparing stories to share that demonstrate how bad Wilder's chin is? We can all just ignore the actual fights and just go by ancient videos and tall tales. Clearly, to anyone who actually watches fights, Wilder's chin may not be granite...but it's damn sure better than AJ's. You can blame fatigue, you can blame shot placement, whatever...doesn't matter, bottom line is based on what we've all witnessed it's clear who the more durable of the two is, today.

Reminds me of Greg page knocking Tyson down in sparring for the Douglas fight

Wilder’s chin is better than Joshua’s? Based on what? Wilder’s best win was Ortiz and he barely survived that, after that what is there? It’s one thing getting dropped by the likes of Whyte and Wlad, it’s another thing doing the chicken dance against the likes of Molina when you’re older and more experienced than Joshua. Wilder is lucky that Fury can’t punch. Joshua doesn’t have a great chin, but Wilder certainly doesn’t either.

I’ve always thought that Usyk is better suited to heavyweight, I’ve been following him since the amateurs and the toughest fights he had were against Beterbiev and Nistor (who knocked out Joshua as an amateur) who were smaller than him. He always toyed with bigger guys and I’ve never seen him hurt apart from against Beterbiev. I’m not going to make solid predictions yet because I see Fury as a difficult task for Usyk. Ruiz could be trouble, but I’m confident that Usyk beats everyone else (including Joshua and Wilder). We get excited by big punchers but it’s the exceptionally skilled guys who tend to come out on top.

Usyk may be a great heavyweight. Or he may fold when hit by big men. He has 16 fights and was the best cruiser in the world, no doubt, but has a lot to prove before we can cast him as an elite heavy.

Won’t know until he actually steps his toe in the deep end of the pool. The injury is unfortunate. I hope he’ll be able to fight in the fall and does so against a contender so we can get an idea.

wow it's that bad is it?not seen the fight so I can't comment, other than to say I was under the impression that after AJ dropped Ruiz with a combination he made a big mistake by hooking with a hooker in order to finish him off and it would seem like he never recovered?
Fair play to Joshua for saying as much and not having any excuse other than getting caught with a big shot.
Could you not envisage it going the other way if Joshua has less pressure and fights a little smarter?

What would bother me is how Ruiz has more stamina for 12 rounds.

I’m not sure that the top cruisers don’t hit harder than most heavyweights. 6’3/4 guys like Gassiev are rehydrating to 210/215 at cruiserweight.
Usyk is a mad man, he had no fear of super heavies like Medzhidov or Joe Joyce without headgear on. His mentality will not be a problem, and I don’t think someone like Wilder could actually land a punch on him. I don’t think anyone else could even potentially stop him (apart from maybe Whyte) so he is going to do very well.

Joshua made the same mistake he always makes, when he is getting aggressive he drops his right hand. That’s how Ruiz and Whyte caught him with left hooks.
Why Joshua’s trainers haven’t had him specifically focus on that I don’t know.

We shall see. It’s all projection until he actually fights at heavyweight and faces some top guys.

I’d be surprised if they haven’t but working on it doesn’t necessarily mean solving it - a teacher is only as good as the pupil ... coaching isn’t puppetry, you can’t control them with a string.

I saw an AJ who did not try to carry out very simple, repeatedly conveyed corner instructions vs. Ruiz. Sometimes a guy is told and coached and drilled and then does what he does anyway.

We have more than just speculation, he has fought 6’5 plus heavyweights/and pro heavyweights without headgear in the WSB. He’s dominated and beat guys who hurt and stopped Joshua so we aren’t going blind when making predictions on Usyk.
