Imagine how easy Fury would beat ruiz

Easily as AJ was supposed to beat him??

 

andy will not fall for the feints, it will be the other way around. fury will be facing the best upper body movement in the hw division. this is not some oak that he can tease with his chin all night, this is a set of shoulders that is moving left-right, up-down, constantly. andy also puts in work when hes tied up, one of furys favorite spoiling tactics. fury does not have the power to stop andy from closing distance on him, he will be forced to create that distance, and it will not be pretty. i believe andy is schooled enough to be able to still close that distance and hurt fury.

 

In reality, AJ rushed in after the first knock down and got caught behind the ear. He was off from then on. If nothing else he needs to not do that again. Stay outside and jab and only throw the right if he has a clean shot . And god knows somebody teach the guy how to clinch. He couldn't tie up a christmas present.
Ruiz will lose to both Wilder and Fury. Wilder will KO him and Fury will win by UD or cuts.
If Parker can dance him around for 12 rounds so can Fury.

Well, I won't bet against Ruiz. Fury may hit the mat for the count this time. I think he will.

 

we will get to find out soon enough. as fighters, i rate them in the same bracket, as men, im a fan of andys.

 

Agreed no way you can’t pull for Andy, Fury just too big, too much movement, too slick, too good with his jab. Andy isn’t walking in and hittin Fury like he did AJ.

 

i dont see that jab stopping andy. andy wont be looking to not get hit by the jab, he will be looking to not get hit square, as hes coming in for a hook, either to the head or the body, depending on what fury is defending the most. fury looks fast because of his size and the size of the guys hes in there with, andy is on another level. fury is not a fearsome puncher, and andy could probably handle it even if he was. fury is getting touched, and i dont think he will respond well to it.

 

Fury is a horrible styles matchup for Ruiz. Probably the worst out there, honestly

 

Id make Fury a favorite, but I wouldn't count Ruiz out, he can box.

 

This sad Tyson Fury fans are almost as sad as these guys in the Classic Forum who insist that 150 to 180 pound guys from 80 years ago could beat modern sized and skilled heavyweights.

Tyson Fury has yet to look good in any of his fights. He ran from a timid broken down glass jaw Wladimir Klitschko and landed 86 punches in 12 rounds and then ran from the glorified tomato can Deontay Wilder for 12 rounds, landing 84 punches while being knocked down twice. Now these delusional Brits and other Europeans act like Fury is some type boxing deity.

 

Many of us, including myself, thought Ruiz would be easy work for AJ.

How can we make the same statement with Fury after what we just witnessed?

Based on the Ruiz-Parker fight, I do feel like Fury is in a significantly better position stylistically to handle Ruiz, but I can't be confident about that.
