If Ward is allowed to Roid up, I'll give him a chance. But natural Ward gets viciously KO. There is a huge difference between heavyweight and light-heavy. Think Joe Frazier vs Bob Foster. They will carry Ward out on a stretcher if he tries to be cute and fight Ruiz.
No way would anyone pay to see this, Andy is far better than John Ruiz was, John Ruiz would have been destroyed by AJ.
Maybe, maybe not. A lot of people weren't giving Ward a chance against Kovalev either and how did that turn out?
Big difference between Kovalev's sturdiness and the sturdiness of say Usyk (still technically a CW), Gassiev, Breidis, Dorticos etc....Ward is very, very good. He's not go up to CW or HW and dominate good (ala James Toney, Roy, Evander, etc)
I don't believe that Ward is as naturally talented as Toney or Jones but he seems to find a way to win. You are probably right but I just can't write him off out of hand against any of the current cruiserweights.
