The fat might have helped Ruiz from being pushed around but that is about it. He won the fight with superior punching and durability. Trying to spin his blubber into a miracle of modern training is hilarious. We have a new HW Champion is 6'1" or shorter, fat, and of average skill and speed...he beat the athletic super heavy with toughness and aggression. True durability is one of the most important assets a Heavyweight can have.
Yeah and these same posters knock Louis for being briefly dropped by Galento mainly due to Galento's Andy Ruiz like physique. And Louis convincingly stopped Galento in 4 rounds whilst dominating the fight apart from that brief hiccup and being nearly 40 pounds the lighter man.
I think Rocky Marciano might could beat Holly Holm in a boxing match. I would favor Holm because she isn't a slow no talent mob controlled tomato can. But if Holm took it easy on Marciano he might get a lucky win. But there is 0 percent change that Marciano could beat any half way decent fighter from the 70's till this day. I can't imagine Rocky Marciano lasting even 10 seconds with somebody like Joshua. Unless Joshua took pity on him. Joshua has no skilled compared to modern fighters. His chin isn't good enough to take a modern size heavyweight punch. Marciano was 185. There is no way Marciano could hurt Joshua and there is no way he could avoid being hurt. Again like Eddie Murphy stated in Coming to America. Every time you mention something about boxing a certain group of people will find a way to pull Marciano out of their butts.
If you are saying every legimate trainer disagrees with me....you are just wrong. You even said "would" ....suggesting yourself the comment is in theory. You didnt say "not one legit trainer agrees with you." I think what you meant is "some trainers disagree but that dont sound authoritive enough so let me color it up with hyperbole." To be correct you will have to show every trainer deemed "legitmate" (who is the authority on that?) my quote and get their take. Good luck. So for the record...you are just a troll, right?
Marciano's relentless attack inside and he will land the big one, now when we discuss these dream fights what are the rules, do you just grab Marciano right out of a 1950'sfight as he steps into the ring and put him in with Joshua doing the same from his best, or do you bring Marciano back in time and give him the same amount of time joshua has to prepare for the fight using Modern day nutritition and training, or put johshua in the past and let him train for the same amount of time, do you use Rocky's rules from his time or now, because a lot of guys could cut Marciano up and and have it stopped, the bigger they are the harder they fall, no matter how you do it, Marciano will not be stopped, these lazy bums of today could not stand up to the tough guys of the past, they would wilt like the wimps they are.
