Sky obviously wanted him gone for other reasons. They kept Carragher after he spat at a kid. ITV kept Ant Mcpartlin after he drunkenly crashed into pregnant woman. They use things to suit them.

Let’s be honest most thought Joshua was almost unbeatable and he’s lost to a fat person on 5 weeks notice. He’s got multiple world titles. How is what Mcrory saying anything outrageous? I agree he hasn’t let the country down boxers fight for themselves but he should have beat him.

 

Correct but his not the first fighter to lose a fight he shouldn't have.

 

I liked Glenn on sky but he portrays himself awfully now.

 

I agree, I can’t see the huge deal everyone is making it to be anyway. It was always going to happen with him. All sorts of rumours flying around and it all boils down to him losing a fight.

Them other fighters who lost the fights you are on about would get the same said about them (obviously not the letting country down boollocks) Joshua isn’t immune from that is he.

 

I’ve been one of Joshua’s biggest critics but even I can see that Glenn’s comments are way OTT and almost spiteful.

If we are going to talk about “letting one’s country down” what exactly has Glenn ****ing McCrory done other than being an alcoholic nut job most famous for being a Tyson sparring partner? Joshua won an Olympic gold medal (albeit a gift) and has pumped millions into the UK economy with his mega stadium fights.

 

It used to be ridiculous how Glenn would live off being a sparring partner for Mike Tyson.

 

I thought he was over rated as a commentator imo, Ian darke compensated for his flannel. He was a big Lewis cheerleader, I don’t remember him calling Lennox a disgrace to to his nation when he lost to rahman, clearly under prepared and under estimating him after filming oceans 11. Very overly dramatic remark for him to make.

 

Glenn is one to talk. I saw him get lifted of his Cruiser belt once by some glorified journeyman.

 

Enjoyed his podcast on Tris Dixons 'life stories' well worth a listen.

 

Worst of all, he also let down Prince Louis and Prince Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor
