As I'm thinking on it...what white guys were really unfairly fast tracked to P4P ratings over the past ten years or so? I know the white hype thing that ran up through the 80's/90's (with Tommy Morrison being maybe the last really notable example of it here), but it seems like the pendulum swung back the other way, with US fans in general being reluctant to back white fighters until after the fact (if they don't just move the goalposts instead). Its been awhile since the "white hope" narrative was actually actively pitched by the boxing media, but the shadow of it still hangs over a lot of gyms by the looks of it.
If he was the best fighter or even a true top 5 p4p fighter he'd be able to take on the Champs at 140/ and compete at 47. He's always the bigger fighter on fight night except when he found a fat salido, I had that fight even or loma by a round, BUT NO P4P FIGHTER STRUGGLES WITH SAILDO THAT BAD, fighting even VS a fat already sliding salido was nothing short of embarrassing.. Too close a fight with too low a level fighter. I guarantee you MG does far greater than winning a couple rounds, he punishes loma and stops him. Loma doesn't have anything to throw at MG that wouldn't be brushed off like NOTHING

Even better, go to his fights at 126 and 130lbs. Is he bigger than Walters or Russel? No, absolutely not. He's significantly smaller than Walters and has a slightly smaller frame than Russell. Salido? Ha! The man missed weight and outweighed him by 20lb in his SECOND pro fight. fouled repeatedly and still won a clear fight by 7-5. Anyways, it has zero bearing on today. Mikey gets blanked for a second time in two fights. But believe me, the Loma loss will be much more humiliating than Spence.
