Fury is a master at messing with your mind and he'll no doubt have Wilder second guessing himself all over again. That's half the battle won right there.

Worse than his excuses, I think the way he throws BS around like a spoiled brat is distasteful.

Hearn/Joshua are better at manipulating the public than Wilder?

    I am shocked.

    Wilder TKO1 Ortiz rematch
    Wilder TKO1 Fury rematch

He had them down five times already. He knows what he needs to do. He'll be a good 10 pounds heavier for both rematches than he was for their first fights. Nobody gets out of the first round when they rematch Wilder.

Lol, Wilder didn't officially lose. Besides he showed tremendous championship heart by never stopping searching for that equalizer from Round 1 to Round 12 inspite of being thoroughly outboxed.

AJ is the one who quit in such disgraceful fashion. He is the one who has no business being in a man's sport.

The broken arm and the baby oil Fury had on him were top notch excuses .:babeando:

The truth is Wilder is the actual beta male who wants to get pregnant that carries female emotions ,like a jealous girl friend bc he himself knows he cannot match up or do what Ruiz did bc he doesn't have that skills ability .

The actual truth also is and will always be Wilder is a dream fight for Joshua bc Wilder doesn't punch back and waits on guys to stop punching so how does he actually even survive THIS AJ who had Ruiz on the floor ?

What lost AJ the fight was aggressive fast pace punch spurts by Ruiz in the end. Wilder does the EXACT opposite and would not take those shots ruiz was hit with in the first place, so yea he should be happy. lol

Wilder KNOWS he took that L against Fury so he NEEDS to bring Joshua down to direct attention once again off himself. End of !

You make some interesting points, but I think one of the things that I also felt affected Joshua in that fight was the constant pressure. Ruiz made Joshua work consistently even when not doing much himself, similar to something that I think Usyk does very well.
He was pushing forward and it seemed to be making Joshua tire in constantly having to jab and when in close then yes I agree with the spurts you mentioned there but think it was the constant pressure that caused alot of problems.

Constant pressure is always a problem its why you fight elsewhere ,and why mayweatjher also never left his arena. that's a different kind of pressure ,.

Simple adjustments will have AJ winning this fight and probably easily ?

He also needs to NOT drain 50% of what he could have had in this fight in a sparring match a week before hand.

Pressure could and should have been nullified with long jabbing with high guard and careful selective punching and no hard sparring near fight time. Its like me lifting my max bench press and going in the next day thinking i'll be able to lift it again ( I actually did that like an idiot) .

Joshua was not expecting a long fight and its not a stamina issue its a PACE issue, theres a difference.

If you push someones work rate it drains them ,but if you let them pace they can go on and on......

This was AJ's pitfall. Had he even had 10 % more in him he probably ends that fight in round 3.

this isn't an excuse this is reality.

Ruiz is tough and hung in there long enough to get more openings ,the END was TWO back of the ear shots and then a temple shot in round 7.

The actual end was a straight right in between AJ's guard, but he was not fit for fast exchanges ,this was the difference.

Credit to Ruiz chin,as tough as ive seen and lucky for him bc the fight would've been over before the 5th. ,and could have in the 3rd.

Ruiz was Lucky? If Joshua had 10% more he'd have won?

We all saw the fight. You're wrong.

I understand why Hearn wants an immediate return. I started a thread about this the other day. He's a promoter. Rematches are easy sells. He wants to get the Joshua bandwagon rolling again and forget this happened. Joshua is the Matchroom meal ticket.

But you don't come back five months later against the same guy who just flattened you FOUR times and totally humiliated you. Joshua's trainers should've stepped up and prevented this return fight.

Now they'll all be out of a job when Joshua crashes and burns a second time.

It's suddenly amateur hour over at Matchroom. They aren't using their heads.

    Let's be fair.

Wilder vs Fury can be argued to be a draw or a close fight.

    Joshua vs Ruiz was a one-sided beat-down.
