    Yes they are. The same article that references his tongue in cheek comments also states that’s he’s due £10mil for any rematch.

    He's lucky if he gets a 50% guarantee out of it.
    This is unlikely to be a $100M+ fight, so a $50M demand is really out there.

    Hearn can't complain. He chose Ruiz because he thought he'd give it a go and then fold as opposed to Hunter or Kabayel, both who could have realistically boxed the crap out of Joshua in a 12-round stinkfest.

    Hopefully it’s just him putting on a brave face and it’s his way of coping with a setback and he’s devastated inside, rather than it being a huge relief. I do suspect the latter though.

    The rematch split is likely 80/20 in AJ's favour. We know Hearn pays opponents as little as possible and Ruiz wasn't in a position to refuse anything.

    The good news is 20% of the rematch is worth life changing money. If he wins, he never has to accept less than 50% while he holds the belts.

    Go and win the rematch Andy lad. It's a great story!
