It's abundantly clear now that AJ cannot take it to the body. I first noticed this in the Whyte fight when he seemed to completely run out of gas for at least a whole round after shipping a couple of heavy rips downstairs and he visibly winced a couple of times after Ruiz sunk the right hand in downstairs the other night too. Inoue is the most vicious body puncher in the game and if Ruiz can hurt AJ downstairs then Inoue sure as hell can and I think he'd fold him as soon as he does.
Thing is those body shots Ruiz visibly hurt him with didn't look or sound that hard and certainly not Inoue-esque.
Once Joshua completely cycles off the steroids, HGH and insulin, he will probably be in Inoue’s weight class anyway.
