Does anyone have any thoughts on how this is likely to play out?

Personally I think, if the IBF insists on Ruiz fighting Pulev next, and for whatever reason he declines and gets stripped, something like Pulev/Fury for the vacant title, would really make things all the more interesting.

Please not another scattering of the belts after this upset. We see this time and time again, and it prevents us from ever seeing a true undisputed champ at Heavy.

Yeah the IBF seems to love stripping non A sides of titles. If it happens we'll see who in the top 5 really wants to fight Fury. Ruiz and Parker would. The Wilder rematch is on the cards. Joshua and Whyte? I'm not sure.

    Of course it will happen.

And there is a very good to excellent chance either the WBA or the WBO strip the title away before their supposed rematch. Or, immediately right after the rematch===one of those must defend the tile within 30 days things.

So fragmented titles in the works for the near and immediate future for us, the boxing fans.

I called this two days ago.

Fury is fighting IBF Schwartz no.9

Kabayel was no.2 now they have magically moved him down to 3 and the no.2 is VACANT. Why would that be??? Hmmm

Pulev v fury is what they want

I believe Hearn has confirmed that the three titles will be in play for Ruiz vs. AJ II.

Which is surprising because their last mandatory defense is late 2017 and usually they ask for a defense every 18 or even 24 months.

The IBF is well aware of Joshua's rematch clause so it wont happen, team Joshua doesn't lie to sanctioning bodies. Thats why they don't have to struggle unlike other teams, wonder who that can be ? lol

The IBF was aware of the rematch with Wlad and fury. Do you realise how water tight bontes contracts were?

If the IBF stays within its own rules it will treat fury and Ruiz the same

They go in turns, right? Joshua also had the WBA and then got the WBO. Maybe it's because of that. And then there is the fact that Ruiz just won the belt, so maybe that influences things as well?

Fury is ranked way behind on IBF.

It's not about Fury or Schwarz. It's about if Andy Ruiz will get stripped off his title or not and is he going to face Pulev or not.
