    Let’s face it the biggest sellers is canelo and was Joshua! Ruiz has already earned tons of fans. If he beats AJ again then he will dethrone canelo as the face of boxing because he has the Mexican fans behind him but he also speaks English and can go on American media outlets!

    If he beat Joshua again then beat wilder then he becomes the official face of boxing

    The face of boxing needs to be a undisputed champion.

    Until that happens no, even though AJ is more popular then before he would need to go on a serious win streak now to surpass Canelo without fighting the runners Fury and Wilder .

    Ruiz is not the face of boxing more then wilder bc he has no title defenses. lol

    No and even if he was it wouldnt be for long. Hunter, Usyk, Wilder, Fury, and maybe even Povetkin would all put one on him.

    Yep, your going to see the great Ruiz go from " We all knew he was a great fighter " to If /WHEN AJ defeats him things will once again get switched around ...

    " oh Ruiz was hype and so is Aj for losing in the first place" .

    One thing I love about boxing fans is they are SOOO predictable, its kind of sad. lol

    He might be the best perhaps but he is not the face of boxing! More casuals know canelo! Heck I don’t think Lomachenko can do canelo Ppv numbers which is why arum has not exploited that Avenue as he has with Crawford

    It’s a possibility, yes. Given that Ruiz fights in premier weight division like the HW and the fact that he speaks english puts him in a good position. On top of that, he is more personable than Canelo.

    I would definitely support Ruiz over Canelo. Mexicans I know dont even like Canelo.
