Depends on how Golovkin approaches this. He might focus more on his boxing and deliver a performance similar to what he did with Lemieux.
He might want to get some rounds in with his new trainer/approach.
He might want to make a statement.

And the big factor for Rolls is that he has never been on a stage like this. Whats the biggest venue he has fought in? And how big was the crowd? He has never seen anything like MSG.
And it's not just the MSG, it's also Golovkin and the massive media attention.
    Can he mentally handle this.

Rolls reminds me of Dominic Wade.

I've seen Rolls fight, he should get KO in the first, or second round. Rolls makes Vanes Martirosyan look like an elite fighter.

That's not an easy question to answer. A new trainer, a little bit new style, maybe. More movement, less power, possibly.
But, essentially, Golovkin can stop Rolls in any round he really wants to.

    Good post.

If Golovkin looks sharp and just sort of hangs around, then you know Banks wants him to get rounds in.
If Golovkin looks like he's trying to get Rolls out of there and struggles to, then its probably the end of the road for GGG.

I can't see even a crappy version of Golovkin losing to him tbh.

Well, actually Vanes was an elite fighter @ 154 but Golovkin dragged him up to 160. Now he is fighting some unknown 35 years old guy at a catchweight. Rolls will get knocked out in the first and everyone will claim that the 'Yes Man' Banks has changed Golovkin and he is about to knock out Canelo in their third fight. And then Golovkin will fight exactly the same way as before and will get robbed yet again.

I reserve elite for the creme of the crop, and true world champions. Martirosyan was a solid world level fighter, a B level fighter, a contender, a gatekeeper, but not elite.

But I agree with the rest of your post minus the robbery part. You'd have to watch more boxing to know what a robbery truly is.

    End of the road? Nah.
We don't really know how good Rolls is. He could just go into survival mode, which is hard to deal with for anyone.

If you want to know look up some of his fights on youtube, Golovkin probably has harder sparring partners.
