I am betting Wlad wished he invoked the rematch clause. If he was more aggressive he likely would have KOed Joshua or made him quit in round 6 or 7 in their fight.

Ortiz's best wins are Jennings and 45 year old Thompson...

no he'd be top ten,he was a typical title opponent for wlad after he learned to avoid another sanders.

povetkin, haye, chaggy iggymaybe peter - best wins, after that its pretty much Ortiz level.

wlad is better than wildman though.

Styles make fights. Ruiz wouldn't beat Wlad because Wlad is much better at controlling distance and holding on for dear life. He would just jab Ruiz's head off and grab him when he got close in a 12 round snoozefest.

In what way? Ortiz is far harder to hit.

Chambers rated Andy`s speed before his fight with AJ, he knows his stuff along with the speed.

Ruiz knows how to pressure a taller fighter better than Haye did, using that high guard as you come in is a good idea v taller fighters, Haye didn`t have a clue against Wlad, nor did he have Ruiz`s chin, the punches J knocked Ruiz down with would have knocked Haye out.

Im not comparing AJ to Haye,im showing you that saying Ruiz defeats Wlad is a farce from what we see. lol ....first off Ruiz would be in major trouble with a long jab and coming in Wlad would clinch him to death. He would in the end make Ruiz lunge and he would be no where to be found. And I expect Aj is/will do this to him .

I like Ruiz but to suggest he wins a firefight with Sanders is ludicrous.

But if a ref denied him use of those tactics he'd probably lose. Its what happened in the Brewster fight. Robert Byrd wasn't having any of it. Most ref in the US or UK wouldn't.

    Ludicrous ? I don‘t think so.

Saying Amir Khan would KO Mike Tyson is ludicrous but to suggest Ruiz would be competitive with Sanders ( a guy who wasn‘t more accomplished ) is definitely not.

You‘re probably a Wlad fanboy and that‘s the reason you want to believe Sanders was leagues above Ruiz but he clearly wasn‘t.

To be kind you are probably a bit young and not too knowledgeable about Sanders, who is far more accomplished than Ruiz at this point. Who did Ruiz beat other than an overhyped muscle bound Joshua....

Like I said I like Ruiz and said several years ago he was the best young HW out there. I dont see him beating a prime Sanders...but perhaps Andy is still climbing-time will tell.

No you‘re wrong, I watched Sanders and i know who he was Lmao.

Except for that performance against Wlad he never impressed and his resume is actually comparable to Ruiz‘s.

To suggest Sanders would destroy Ruiz when he only destroyed one top 10 fighter ( Wladimir Klitschko who had a glassjaw ) in his whole career is actually ludicrous.
