Question from left-field ... but has Tyson or his people ever considered a fight anywhere in East Asia?

He's mainly fought in the UK/US and went to Germany for Wlad.

He has the optics and personality to attract a lot interest in this part of the world (I live in South Korea).
The population is huge ... anyone who spent time here appreciates how vast the population is ... China especially.

As long as it doesn't conflict with work, I'd very likely make the trip to Tokyo or east coast of China to see one of his fights.

 

Wise, there'd be a lot of them and journos/YT'ers with sock puppet accounts.

 

Eddie Chambers posted here for a bit but was probably turned off by idiots posting disrespectful stuff.

 

It's a pity. Eddie Chambers fought for the heavyweight championship of the world. Not too often boxing fans get to interact with someone who has achieved that.

 

If so, I'd ask for them to consider making a fight in South Korea at some stage. There's been an explosion of boxing gyms across the country in recent years. I really don't know why, but there's quite a lot. Not long ago I was sitting in a restaurant and upstairs across the road I could see middle school age kids hitting bags and training.

The country really needs some high profile international fights to elevate the sport here more. Not sure of the financials but the greater Seoul metropolitan area has 25 million people within driving/subway distance of its venues.
