Eddie Hearns: Only AJ is allowed to duck mandatories to have a rematch, if Wilder does it I'll sue!

Although I agree Hearn is a twat he has made boxing great again.

 

LOL, the competition is advancing and yet again Hearn's getting frozen out.

The sooner Wilder gives Whyte the collapsed scarecrow on the ropes treatment the better, sick of this guy coming back like a bad penny all the time.

 

Eddie Hearns thinks his public antics will outmaneuver the wbc but he’s a blundering moron.

Wbc already ordered an immediate rematch between wilder and fury before fury announced his first espn fight so that will supersede the mandatory (which whyte doesn’t have and that wilder doesn’t have to take for a year from when he fought Breazale).

If there’s a rematch clause, whyte will still have to wait. If wilder is able to make it past fury and ortiz. Hell probably be granted another voluntary for his fury fights (which the wbc ordered) then Ruiz will be an option (if he makes it past AJ again) which will again supersede the whyte mandatory.

So whyte will have anywhere from 3 - 6 fights before he gets to see wilder. Get comfortable clowns...

 

Wilder should ko Whyte. It will only make his stock higher

 

Well Whyte is not a mandatory or fought a final mando yet and won so Wilder has a year ( ? in his case TWO ? lol ) ) to fight his mando when its put in place so he cannot stop the Wilder vs Fury fight if it gets signed first.

Hearn wont win here at all Wilder can fight mandos whenever he likes and wont change unless he has the belt taking from him.

Hearns big mistake was not taking the Breazeale fight last year to get the mando spot in the first place. So those guys are in for a long wait. no matter what fury and wilder do.

 

Because enough people are willing to overlook and/or justify his hypocrisy and dishonest use of the legal system. In other words, the legal system and fans allow it.

 

Lol considering the WBC is based in Mexico and desperately protects HW and LHW champions who are based in the USA/Canada, Hearn is pissing in the wind over this.

I saw this interview. I think 305th posted it and Eddie was foaming at the mouth for the audacity of Wilder and Fury to agree to third fight without taking into consideration one of his fighters.

Honestly how anyone can support or stomach this lying slithering hypocrite is beyond me. There are people who actually support him as if he is a fighter.

To be fair to Wilder, in 9 title defenses he has only fought 2 mandatories. There's no reason for the WBC to change their ways. If he beats Ortiz and then Fury twice, the averages would suggest that he'll get another voluntary afterwards, before he has to face a mandatory challenger.

To NasalSpray, you realise that AJ isn't the champion right? He has invoked a rematch clause, Ruiz has no choice but to fight him again (or do a Fury and keep pulling out with injury and retiring). Why should Ruiz be punished, when he probably wouldn't have got the fight in the first place if he hadn't agreed to the rematch.

 

And why is all that a good thing? What exactly is the point to fighting your way to a mandatory position if it is never likely to be honoured? If Whyte defeats Rivas, he is every bit as deserving of a title shot at Wilder as any other heavyweight out there. By the time the Rivas fight comes around Whyte will have been the no.1 ranked heavyweight with the WBC for the better part of SIX HUNDRED DAYS.

Now that Joshua is totally irrelevant (according to the gloaters and the haters), Ruiz is apparently just a fat turd and Fury was lucky against Wilder, surely Wilder just creams Whyte in the first few rounds and gets a huge payday in the process and sticks yet another nail in the coffin of Hearn and Matchrooms attempts at global domination.

It's all a win win for Wilder so just take the ****ing fight already, but, will he? Not on current eveidence

 

Wilder should freeze Whyte out just because Eddie thinks he runs the division and Ruiz should drop all belts but the WBA and fight his mando it would eat away at Joshua
