The thread and title is about a court case involving cyclone and Frampton.
Nothing whatsoever to do with his current ability as a boxer.
    Thanks for your suggestion though

While you’re at it you’d better look into the definition of shot as well, as it has nothing to do with ability as a boxer.

Lot of reading up to do. Jesus wept.

Sounds like Barry has killed the golden goose with Frampton.

Let's see how this goes. McGuigan by the sounds of it got screwed by Eastwood, so I'm very surprised this is happening.

Why are you surprised,I’m sure you only know his media image that he portrays . When the true nature of the man is hidden behind a raft of legal non disclosure notices that he inforces on people

As he was so badly shafted himself when he was a fighter I didn’t think he’d turn around and do the same thing.

Well sounds like there’s plenty of info to
Come out , so I’ll get the popcorn ready!

I am not sure Barry was shafted as a boxer , he got his title shot in UK against Pedroza then a couple of home defences again mediocre opponents. His management kept him away from the like of Azumah Nelson etc. He apparently wanted more money so hence the Las Vegas defeat against Steve Cruz who wasn’t exactly an all time great. He lost his subsequent court battle against Eastwood and was near bankruptcy. His PR seems good but I think these recent cases with his boxers probably indicate he isn’t exactly a Saint.

People forget how good Pedroza was, at home or abroad, and Bernard Taylor was certainly no slouch. He also got beaten by the Vegas heat, that's plain to see.

Anyways I'm not sure why that is relevant?? Great boxer yes, great person....we're startng to hear perhaps not!

Think a “co-promotion” with Hearn has already been agreed.

Probably best for him, hate to hear about him getting screwed with the money he’s probably earning/ about to earn.

Hearn has been called out on many things, but never not paying his fighters.
