This is a boxing board, most everything we do here is a "waste of time", including exposing certain fans consistent and blatant double standards.

Do I want to see GGG-Canelo, sure, but I already saw who the better fighter is, no real need for a third fight other than a money grab.

As a fan I want to see both Canelo and Golovkin fight the other top MWs and SMWs. FFS GGGs only top fighters have been Canelo and Jacobs in his entire resume.

GGG ducked Derevyenchenko, Saunders, Andrade, Lara, Trout, Ward and even the Jacobs rematch. What a waste of talent.

It really is, some of the rounds that i gave Canelo could of went to GGG. I actually scored it 116-112, 8-4 the night of the fight.

I disagree with everything you just said, and can already see why you have so many friends here.

You can disagree all you want, it doesn't make what I posted wrong.

    1. Canelo is the better fighter. He beat Golovkin in the rematch, and he did it using a style GGG wanted him to use.

    2. Canelo and Jacobs are GGGs only top fighters on his resume. That's undeniable. How can you even disagree with that? lol

    3. Are you suggesting GGG did not refuse to fight Saunders or Derevyenchenko? When GGG was shouting "Anyone between 154-168" and that "No one wants to fight me", were Lara and Trout not very vocal about accepting his challenge? Did Ward not offer to fight Golovkin at 168 only for team GGG to reject Ward's offer??

    4. As a GGG fan and a fan of "boxing" first, don't you wish he would have done more to enhance his legacy?

How can you disagree with "everything I said" if its factually correct? Seriously bro lol

Lol thought so,the guy you were replying to is all right guy but he's so delusional with Canelo you do wonder what he's up to.I mean this is a guy that tries to tell you that Canelo v Mayweather was much closer than is "made out" that Canelo himself after the fight said "I just couldn't hit him all night" didn't mean anything according to ol shadow lol.

He seems ok, just someone who has a hard time accepting anything thats not favorable to Canelo. The mayweather fight was a complete and dominating effort in favor of Floyd. Is was like he was in the ring himself, a total sparring session.

Based on giving Canelo as much as you possibly can ? What about round 1, round 4, and round 6 ? He gave all those rounds to GGG which could easily be scored for Canelo. AA I don't know what's happened to you, I used to have respect for you as a poster but now it seems like every chance you get you make it a point to bad mouth me, now you're saying I'm a "shill" for Golden Boy? Really, did you not read my posts criticizing De La Hoya's statements about making GGG wait? I have zero alignment to any boxing promoters. I don't know why it's so hard for you and many others to accept that there are fans out there who had Canelo winning both fights. You don't have to agree with it, but you don't need to make an ass out of yourself. No one can question Canelo Alvarez's talent and his top level performances vs GGG.

I am not a Floyd fan but that performance was very impressive imo. The fact that Floyd was 37 years of age is even more impressive.

I'm just fine thank you very much. Don't know what AA's beef is, well actually I do know, he's a big GGG fan who can't accept what Canelo did to him. I can make the same argument about AA and GGG that you are making about me and Canelo. (has a hard time accepting anything that's not favorable to GGG) Mayweathear did not dominate Canelo, you need to watch the first 6 rounds again, it was a high level chess match. Yes Mayweather pulled away starting in Round 7 and he indeed won, but it was not a domination or a schooling. It was one of Floyd's more difficult matches.

It was an impressive performance from Floyd, and if I'm not mistaken he was 36 not 37 but very impressive none the less. Floyd got himself into tremendous shape for that, and it paid dividends. However early on Floyd was very nervous and was over-reacting to everything Canelo did. He was biting on a lot of feints, but he eventually settled down and took control of the fight. So I'm not taking anything away from Mayweather's performance, but it wasn't a complete domination that you are making it out to be. Canelo landed some good shots on Floyd as well, and had his moments, it was just not enough to beat Floyd.

Don't think anyone does question his performance but we do question the scores.
Sorry if you feel badmouthed but I actually said you're an all right guy and I've never called you a shill but plenty have,so read my posts properly before you start making an ass out of yourself.
I've done some hard research on this Shadow and the chances of their being anyone else out there on earth who genuinely believes Canelo won both those fights is approximately 8 billion to 1,actually it 3 but I figured Inc Oscar and Canelo wouldn't be fair and would paint a false narrative.
I tried typing in the equation to see how many think Canelo won both against GGG and won two rounds against Floyd and the computer just refused to do it.
Don't take it the wrong way, never would I properly badmouth you,by the same token we are allowed to question why you'd see the exact opposite of what the consensus saw?
