Preferably someone that is feather fisted and isn't going to beat him up before fight night. That rules out the likes of Dubois, Price and the other 2 fighters that laid the bodybuilder out cold. Lol.

I like these thoughts, but at the end of it there's really no one to match Ruiz Jr all that well. Maybe Hunter Jr is the best as the most skilled in countering. Parker: has the handspeed to (nearly) match Ruiz, but when he gets tagged he retreats and then comes again. When Ruiz gets hit he immediately fires back. Povetkin: much slower, throws his left hook quite differently to Ruiz.
Parker and hunter would be ideal but wouldn’t happen. Takam because of his size, doesn’t have the hand speed but he’s fit and strong.
Dave Allen..... easily available, tough as old boots with a great chin so won't call off after a tough day, decent left hook - especially to the body - and probably needs the money I would suspect.
