Remember when I said biggest.upset since buster douglas?

Won't be forgotten for a long time? Drama won't die down anytime soon?

    Yeah.

The fight drama is now living rent free in all your heads.

I was as shocked as anyone... but Ive moved the **** on now. Onwards to the rematch.

Pretty simple, he lost to the better fighter that night.

he was either recovering from a concussion or had a panic attack prior to the fight, got whacked on the right ear drum and became concussed and off balance and never recovered. why thats so hard for people to see is weird.

No question that he didn't recover from that 3rd round.Thats the easy bit. I think the majority of fans want to know what happened in the build up to the fight. There was something up with him.

A punch connected on his face and he fell down.

Sorry to dissapoint you but, there is a select group of Joshua and in particular Hearn haters on here that are gonna continue gloating, hating and basking in the glory of finally getting a prediction right about Joshua losing, ( even a broken clock is right twice a day), that threads are going to be made denigrating Joshua and Hearn for months to come and God forbid if he loses the rematch. There's threads on here from different posters that have pretty much the same title!

There's going to have to be an upset of almost similar magnitude to even see the slightest decline I'm afraid. Even if Tyson had lost to Douglas in the Social Media age were in now, there would be far less slating of Tyson.
People nowadays only tolerate so much success and financial reward before the knives start coming out.

I'm a boxing fan and I want Ruiz to win.
Ruiz is a great story, a good underdog story and if he loses the rematch he'll be written off as a fluke and a nobody and never given enough credit for beating Joshua. I don't think he's been given credit enough already, all the talk has been about Joshua losing rather than him winning.

I'm British and support UK boxers first and foremost and UK boxing in general and if Joshua loses the rematch (quite likely), the boxing scene in the UK will be put back years as there is no one on the horizon who is able to bring even close to the same appeal to the casuals.

UK boxing has already taken a huge hit due to all the American based broadcaster and promotional deals coming through. The US up until last year was relatively speaking a financial wasteland compared to now, the last 12 months have just gone crazy with every top flight boxer over inflating their worth because of the money being thrown around

I'm British too and I don't think the boxing scene here in the UK rests on Joshua at all.
If casual fans forget about boxing because Joshua loses again then they weren't boxing fans at all.
Boxing can't rest on one man. Especially one who's already got about 50 million in the bank.
The UK has several top boxers right now, including Fury who is rated by many as #1 heavyweight in the world.

America is a big country and ought to have a bigger boxing scene than UK, for boxing thriving globally.
Big fights from USA and anywhere else should be broadcast all over the world and are usually available in the UK anyway.
I don't see boxing becoming popular in USA again as a bad thing for UK boxing. It's a good thing.

If Joshua wins the rematch, good luck to him. I'll be impressed.
But Ruiz winning is a good thing. He's warrior and proud of his Mexican roots and that's great for world boxing to have a 'Mexican' heavyweight champion for a while longer, alongside Wilder and Fury.
