I completely agree and once again I am not saying he is, the sole point I was making is people would rather see him fail then get good fights.

So you demand to see Wilder fight Ortiz, Whyte and Fury within the space of 6-12 months?

Ortiz fight isn't a foregone conclusion by any stretch of the imagination.

Ortiz, is capable of knocking Wilder out, it's a tough fight.

Hearn and his stock should learn not to count their chickens before they've hatched. Especially since whyte hasn't even cemented himself as mandatory with Rivas to go through.

I'd rather see Wilder fight fury, then if he comes through that fight, the winner of Joshua vs Ruiz, instead of going backwards to knock out a overrated scrub in Dillian Whyte, who will then be called a bum after he becomes a highlight reel ko, by the same morons who are pushing for him to be given a title shot.

Depending upon one’s point of view, they could believe him failing could lead to more good fights.

Right now there’s a stalemate going on with certain fighters allied with dazn not being allowed to fight on other platforms. Haymon and Arum have let some of their fighters fight on dazn. Needs to be a two-way street.

First of all the ring magazine provides a somewhat respectable rankings list, the WBO (Warren's Boxing Organisation) rankings, however, do not. Regardless, although Whyte is a sloppy fighter he would rough and tough the 49 year old Ortiz (who failed miserably on the international amateur scene but a good national amateur boxer) into unconsciousness.

And you want to talk about resumes? Dillian's resume is great especially in comparison to a lot of cherry picker's resumes. Deontay Wilder's resume is absolute filth for a 'champion' with 40 fights. The only notable fighter's on his list are Fury and Ortiz. No, Dominic Breazeale has never been a contender, only a limited few thought Breazeale would upset Wilder, his style is made for him. As for Ortiz, he is 5+years past his prime and has a totally unproven resume. Fury is the best he fought and made Wilder to look amateur swinging with no strategy apart from the right hand - he was lucky to have the judges on his side.

Whyte did fight dirty against Parker, but not dirty enough to deduct multiple points - a point deduction for pushing him against the ropes was needed though. But not many are complaining when Wilder rabbit punch bludgeons most of his opponents to the canvas.. That's a whole lot more dangerous and the fact that barely anyone mentions it is a joke.

The irony of you calling dillian Whyte overrated when you’re going on about how tough a fight Ortiz has been. He beat nobody to get his first title shot and has beaten nobody since to get another one.

That's why Whyte did all he could to avoid Ortiz, when the WBA ordered him to fight Ortiz in an eliminator.

You have more faith in Whyte than he does in himself.

As for Dillian's resume don't make me laugh.

    Let's look at the names

    Chisora
    Lucas Browne
    Dave Allen
Helenius (same guy who got beat by Wilder's opponent Duhaupas)
    Malcom Tum

 And you casual, think that is great and worthy of a title shot?

Parker vs Whyte was a farce had whyte rightly been docked points , he'd have lost on the scorecards.

Repeated low blows, attempting to throw your opponent out of the ring, and repeated hits to the back of the head all warrant point deductions unless you're a corrupt bought off referee who doesn't care about the rules in favor of one fighter.

As for Breazelle, go and check this place before it was confirmed Wilder was to fight him.

We had fools like you hyping DB the same way Whyte is being hyped up. The same way Ortiz was being hyped up before he fought Wilder and morons stating he was ducking Ortiz and avoiding his mandatory to fight Breazelle.

Meanwhile, Wilder has faced opponents the other two top heavyweights have avoided. Joshua avoided both ortiz and fury like the plague and Fury hasn't ever fought a top ten fighter outside of Wlad and Wilder. Yet we're meant to be believe he's scared of getting in the ring with Dillian no belt Whyte.

I can't take posters like you seriously.

You go on about resumes, look at the big dangerous bogeyman Luis Ortiz’s record. Their is absolute nobody on there worth mentioning, you go on about brainwashing - you’ve been brainwashed into thinking Ortiz is a good fighter based off nothing.

The wording of what he said could be significant, but "legal position" or "legal action", it's still "legal" meaning "relating to law" and if you go down that road of "legal" then where does it end? Usually in a settlement of some kind, a solid agreement or if nothing can be agreed then finally in court.

If you are denying a fighter an opportunity and going against your own rules/guidelines without a legitimate reason then of course somebody will have a case for some kind of legal action.

The WBC (let's not forget Whyte pays sanctioning fees to) will have to explain why they are denying Whyte a mandatory shot at their title and more than likely breaking their own rules/guidelines in the process.

If Whyte is being treated as a special case then the WBC will have some explaining to do.

For example.. Why Breazeale and not Whyte? Let them explain that in court, it would be hilarious.

What can they say? Breazeale had better wins? Nope, Breazeale was ranked higher? Nope, Breazeale deserved it more than Whyte? Nope, they have no legitimate reason or excuse for Breazeale getting a mandatory title shot before Whyte.

Also let's not forget the text messages Wilder sent Whyte saying he would freeze him out, they are significant.

Anyway, Let's see what happens, but the point of what Hearn said was this.. Wilder is fighting Ortiz next, then they (other promoters and Wilder) are saying Fury again and then a possible third fight, they are putting that out there.. so let's break that down, Ortiz end of 2019, Fury in May/June 2020 and maybe a rematch end of 2020 so by that reasoning Whyte might get a shot at the WBC title in the spring/summer of 2021.

So you believe waiting nearly 4 years as Number 1 contender is acceptable and Hearn shouldn't ruffle a few feathers? If Hearn ignored this then I'd be saying he is doing Whyte a huge disservice and Whyte should leave him.

They are hoping Whyte gets beat so all this goes away but if Whyte beats Rivas then they all are pretty much screwed.

Yes Whyte has waited for 600 days, in that time he has had big PPV events, made a lorry load of money, improved as a fighters, built his profile and most importantly won and defended the WBC Silver title and occupied the Number 1 position .

Whyte and Hearn had a plan, they went the WBC route, let's also not forget Whyte was offered a shot at AJ and he turned it down, so Hearn has got Whyte a world title shot, one he didn't want to take, Whyte wants a shot at Wilder and that's his choice.

Hearn has done an incredible job promoting Whyte, absolutely amazing, he has taken Whyte from after his defeat to AJ, Whyte is unbeaten since then, made millions, has been number 1 with the WBC for nearly 600 days and should be getting his shot at Wilder if he beats Rivas.

Whyte made some noises about going to another promoter after he turned down the AJ offer, apparently Whyte went to America to speak to a couple, and where did he end up? Back with Hearn so what does that tell you?

As for Rivas, who else can Whyte fight? Who should he fight? And how will fighting anybody else get him "closer" to a world title shot? How can you move past being Number 1 with the WBC?

And your last comment about AJ losing and Hearn suddenly jumps on Whyte is complete rubbish, Whyte has headlined PPV shows, Hearn has been pushing him for a long time, so have Sky, Hearn made Wilder huge offers to fight Whyte on Whytes behalf.

Hearn offered Wilder millions and millions to fight Whyte and Wilder turned them down to fight lesser fighters for at best a couple of million.

So Hearn has backed Whyte, has promoted him, has fought his corner and has pushing to get him a shot at Wilder for well over 18 months.

So for you to try and make it sound and look like Hearn has ignored Whyte and is only now interested in him because AJ lost means you are seriously misinformed, or have had your head in the sand for the past year and a half or are just blatantly telling lies.

I do not base a fighter's ability solely off their resume, but what they are capable of inside the ring, ability wise.

I brought up Whyte's resume to show he doesn't deserve to be fighting Wilder ahead of Fury or Ortiz.

Part of that is that he has no belts and has not beaten anyone worthy to be taken seriously.

Ortiz was an unbeaten fighter before he fought Wilder and earned his way towards a title shot initially for the WBO, until Joshua and Hearn went back on their word to honor him with a shot. That's when Wilder stepped him and offered him a shot.

Whyte has never fought his way to mandatory position until now, when he had ample opportunity to do so, against Ortiz himself. An offer which he declined.

Ideally Wilder wouldn't be re matching Ortiz, since there is a good possibility he could knock wilder out, meaning we won't see Wilder vs Fury again.

Sadly because of stupid idiots who kept saying Wilder got help from the ref in the Ortiz fight,(even though it wasn't the ref), Wilder now like the true champion that he is, wishes to shut these planks up and prove his win was no fluke.

It's going to be another great fight due to Ortiz being a world class operator who doesn't completely gass out like Dillian Whyte and doesn't struggle to maintain balance, leaving his chin hanging in the air like Dillian.

The same dillian whyte who was gasping for air in the 12th round against Parker, and almost keeled over from exhaustion to where the ref had to hold him up.

The only advantage Dillian holds, is youth. Everything else he is inferior to Ortiz, be it power, footwork, ring IQ and basic body balance.

Why do people keep mentioning Whyte like he is Lennox Lewis?

He uses his head to block punches, and would get KTFO by Wilder within 6 rounds, max.
