Ruiz absolutely demolished and outboxed Anthony Joshua in a devastating fashion

I watched the match closely again just moments ago.

Andy Ruiz is definitely a better boxer than Anthony Joshua. He outboxed and outsmarted AJ, won almost every exchange. He is a very focused and smart boxer with excellent chin and great skills.

I do not accept that AJ wasn't 100% or AJ had been knocked out in sparring or underestimated Ruiz etc. I think AJ was there 100%, against a better boxer and the inevitable happened. The way AJ was dismantled so quickly and easily by Ruiz proves AJ is a below average boxer. I have seen boxers taking harder hits and still continued. I am actually relieved that he fought Ruiz and exposed himself, so that boxing fans will not believe in a false hero anymore.

Funny thing is, although Povetkin and Parker are better boxers than Ruiz, they lost to AJ.

I think if Parker had the same referee and the bout had happened in USA, Parker would defeat AJ too. When they said "ref doesn't allow inside fighting, therefore Parker cannot be effective", I thought these were just the claims of AJ haters, but now I understand better that they are right, they are absolutely right. I believe that Parker and Kevin Barry is cursing on the referee now.

Povetkin lost probably due to his age. I just can't analyze how Ruiz could beat AJ and Povetkin couldn't.

AJ will probably retire after rematch with Ruiz. I would listen to Foreman and avoid and forget Ruiz, he is AJ's nemesis. I would pick fighters that bow to my style, make a couple millions of bucks before I retire.

You had me nodding yes until this. Those two are not better. Parker got the biggest gift/robbery after being outclassed by Ruiz. You should watch the actual fight lmao. The NZ head of boxing resigned in protest after the robbery. :duh:risas3:

thesmokingm, I watched that match. When they said "it was a robbery", I watched it very closely again. Ruiz had his moments but overall Parker beat him black and blue all along.

Klitschko exposed his lack of chin and stamina but being an ancient Klitschko he simply didn’t have the aggression of a young fighter to seal the fate.

Everyone has the blueprint to Joshua now. He is spoiled goods.

EDIT: Correction, he never was the goods. He is exposed snake oil.

I think everybody, fans and boxers, was thinking AJ was impossible to beat. That's why Wlad, Parker and Povetkin was a little hesitant. But there was one man who didn't care about the hype. Andy Ruiz has a very interesting character, so calm and straightforward. He was absolutely calm before the match. Didn't care.

I mean, I don't disagree with a lot of what you said and if you're right that will show up in the rematch. I don't buy into any of the excuses AJ fans have been coming up for him -- excuses he's not willing to use - but he was sub-par on the night. That may well have been due to Ruiz's excellence, of course. But I suspect Ruiz will have to beat a better Joshua come November....

You are blind and biased. You are only jumping on the obvious wagon now. Seriously.

So why didn't you tell us how great Ruiz Jr. was after he fought Dimitrenko, Parker and Johnson? Why did you wait until after the AJ fight to proclaim how amazing Ruiz Jr. is?

It was a bad robbery. NZ had the whole thing rigged, commentators, the crowd. Every single thing Parker did was hailed as some great act, it was so damn ridiculous.

Because I didn't watch his matches then. And he bettered himself in time.

And look how many predict now Ruiz Jr. will "easily beat AJ again in the rematch because AJ is a fraud".

Well the odds are still 3/1 last time I looked. How many of these loud mouths will bet their life's savings on this 'totally obvious fact'?
