You know when a really dumb fantasy fight comes to your head, and you start thinking about it for some reason?

15rds? I think Farr had the boxing ability and the chin to take a decision here.

I'll take Sharkey with 45rds, 2oz gloves and loose wrestling rules

I was half joking with that comment but the point is that I think Sharkey is better over long distances

hard pick. Farr tough and more skilled, Sharkey more power, good stamina, tough too and faster than rated. 15 rounds, Farr on points.

Farr by decision would be my best guess.

Sharkey. Farr lost a lot. Sharkey did very well vs boxer types, including wins over hall of fame opponents such as McCoy, Corbett and Choynski. Farr is best described as a solid boxer without a big punch.

Farr lost 35 times, drew 19 times and was KO'd six times vs non puncher types. Sure, he'd win this one.

    Farr had over137 fights. Sharkey had 28 won17 lost7,drew3 1 no dec.Being stopped 4 times
Which is the better ratio of wins?
Which non puncher types ko'd Farr? Cokkell? When Farr was 3 days off of 40 years old and hadn't fought in 2 years ,that fight being the only one in the previous 14 years!
Farr went 15rds with Louis without being off his feet, and twice went the distance with Max Baer, there was nothing wrong with his chin.
