Whyte has turned down, what, three eliminators and a title fight?

Do that and you’re vacating your right to complain about not getting a shot. He was handed a path to it and said no thanks each time.

All this time people say he should have been given a title fight, his own promoter also promoted the guy with the other belts. Could have given him a rematch with AJ any old time. Finally offered a lowball, short notice try and he turned it down.

It’s all on Eddie and AJ and Whyte.

Well it’s lucky for Ruiz he didn’t turn down that “lowball, short notice try” isn’t it?

Yep. Dillian was content to be Plan B for a future stadium fight vs. AJ in the fall or spring. Oh well.

I think Dillian deserves a title shot, he’s had some great wins. But you get offered 6 million and the shot at the titles, you take it and try to beat the champion. That’s why Ruiz deserves everything he gets.

Thats the problem, wilder vs Whyte is not competitive.

Dillian is a euro level scrub and if Joyce, Hrgovic, and Ajagba, are knocking on the door while the champion is tied up in more important fights, then yes they can also wait

Usyk, is an exception, since he is a super champion so he would have right to demand a title shot.

Like another poster pointed out, Whyte had ample opportunities to have his title shot against AJ, also ducked Breazelle, and Ortiz twice to become mandatory, in favor of fighting Browne and chisora and we're meant to feel sorry for him?

Please. Whyte was even promised a title shot if he was to fight Ortiz, and he wanted nothing to do with the idea.

Which blows this ******ed idea peddled by that goon, that Ortiz is an easy fight, otherwise Whyte would have jumped at the opportunity because his stock would have risen as well as guaranteeing himself a shot at the title with mandatory rights to a reasonable percentage.

This is the thing, you call Whyte euro level when he has beaten better opponents than Ortiz while Ortiz has beaten nobody. So what level is Ortiz then? He beat nobody before his first title shot and nobody since, he’s not a good opponent for wilder.

Who is Ortiz's best win? Jennings when he was juiced up?
Hes Not the same fighter anymore because he has to do VADA and because he's old.

Beating Parker > being Juiced up and beating Jennings

Your comprehension skills aren't very good. It's not strictly about resume, it's what you see.

If you want to go down that road of stating Ortiz beat, nobodies, you obviously never heard of Tony Thompson and Jennings, two boxers who would beat the stuffing out of Dillian the scrub Whyte.

Regardless It's not about who beat who, simply watch Ortiz fight, and compare his ability in the ring to Whyte. It's night and day. One fights like a mindless sluggier brute with cavemen swinging while struggling to keep themselves upright, the other fights like a intelligent boxer.

I've seen enough of Whyte to conclude that he's an overated euro level bum. His fights with a shot and old chisora prove that. This guy went 10 rounds with Ian Lewison  and you have the front to speak about Whyte is if he is a serious threat?

You discredit yourself with such nonsense. Lets not forget he went 12 rounds with Dave ****ing Allen, who Ortiz, wiped out in 7.

The facts speak for themselves, he had his chances to have his title shots, and he avoided them like the plague in favor of other fights.

You seem to think rivas is a foregone conclusion, lets hope I don't have to rub salt to wounds on the 20th July.

Whyte should beat cojanu and kauffman, that gets you a title shot with the WBC.

Nobody ducked Breazale. Breazale is a manufactured mandatory just like Stiverne was for the rematch.
Beat nobody and completely useless compared to the rest of the top contenders.

Breazale's #1 spot is is about as legit as Peter Mcneeley's #7 ranking when Tyson came out of jail and had to be fed a bum.

How is it that Wilders only mandatories in his 5 years as "champ" have been 2 completely useless obese journeymen Stiverne and Breazale. Does the WBC have no shame?

    Stfu with your drivel.

Whyte had his chance, Breazelle offered him to fight him for his spot and Whyte cowered away.

Whyte only has himself to blame, he could have been the one fighting Wilder last month, instead he fought Parker, who he should have lost to had there been an impartial ref applying the rules.

It’s what you see, well I saw dillian Whyte knock down Parker with a great hook. The Joseph Parker who beat the unified champion of the world. I didn’t see a European level fighter in that fight but it suits your agenda I guess. Easy to be a an intelligent boxer against stiffs like Ortiz has fought.

And when did I say Rivas was a foregone conclusion? Far from, he destroyed Ortiz’s best win and it’s a great fight - Whyte is taking risks. Speaking of forgone conclusions, thats exactly what Ortiz fighting bums like cojanu and kauffmann was. They couldn’t risk Ortiz in a decent fight in case he lost before Wilder.

Whyte is fighting everyone and not being rewarded for it, I don't even think he would beat wilder but FFS he deserves the shot over #1 "All you can eat Champions" like a shot Stiverne who got beat up and dropped by Journeyman Derrick Rossy before the 2nd Wilder fight and Breazale who had already been exposed as useless at the top level by Joshua.

The top of the heavyweight division is disgraceful at the moment

Fury is really good but is also fighting bums and is also for some reason SHAMELESSLY ducking Whyte(who I think he would shut out 12-0)

Joshua was badly exposed, can't box, can't take or recover from a good punch and has bad stamina

Yes I also saw feather fisted Parker knock down Whyte. I also saw a ref warn Dillian Whyte about wrestling, rabbit punches and failing to follow up on those warnings to dock a point which would have lost him the fight.

All this is all arbitrary since, Ortiz worked himself to be a legitimate mandatory, and fought a great fight, until he was knocked out, earning himself a rematch through his performance.

The same cannot be said of Whyte, who until now turned his back on several opportunities to become mandatory .

So all this crying and praying for Whyte, is quite frankly beyond stupid which is why I am annoyed with myself getting drawn in to explain the ****ing obvious to morons who wish to ignore reality and live in some parallel universe where Dillian Whyte is this ATG fighter that fought everyone in front of him, whilst the other top three live in fear of his name.

The irony, you’re the one crying and praying for Ortiz to be a top level fighter who’s everyone has feared when it’s been proven that he isn’t. He hasn’t got the stamina, he had a flurry which wilder survived and then the old man was spent - pointless rematch.
