Anything to try and bring the sport back … this is an all time low .. maybe AJ should have put on a better performance.. Instead of the ref giving him 20+ seconds before waving it off
also surprised McGregor isn't on the list

    1. Sugar Ray Robinson
    2. Floyd Mayweather
    3. Muhammad Ali
    4. Roberto Duran
    5. Sugar Ray Leonard
    6. Joe Louis
    7. Tommy Hearns
    8. Archie Moore
    9. Larry Holmes
    10. Either Henry Armstrong or Marvin Hagler...this is a TOUGH call for me to make, so I won't.

The last part of the original list wasn't terrible imo.

It's not objective. It's computed off an arbitrary and ever changing algorithm people came up with.

this is a screwy list. Crawford at 50? This has to be a joke.

Who's yelling? Someone posts a list, which in most forums usually means they are inviting opinion. Typically the purpose of a forum, really. So I gave mine. Big deal.

It’s not intended to be absolutely accurate in terms on reality. It is more objective than opinion.

Well until someone creates a better algorithm, Boxrec will be around. They aren’t claiming that their list is better than whatever analyst’s opinion.

What algorithm should be used to rank them is opinion.

Maybe not, but someone posted it here, didn't they? Are we supposed to just read things and not respond in any way? If so, sorry I missed that memo...…….I've been misunderstanding this forum thing for a while then.

You’re misinterpreting what the list actually is. That’s all.

I think Boxrec works well for comparing contemporary fighters. I think it has more issues with comparing past and present, just like people do.

There is one other points based ranking system which is pretty good, maybe better than Boxrec, but they don’t have a smooth searchable database put together. (I forget what they call themselves.)

No, actually I'm not. I'm merely assuming that the person on this board decided to post it to encourage discussion. I lent an opinion to it. Not a lot more to it than that.

sorry, I cant agree with that. Where the hell is Terry Norris?

personally, I have strong belief that prime Camacho (130) whips Floyd

and its not even close (too much speed)
