Is this fight PPV? Can I pay to watch this? Really excited about this card. Gorman vs Dubois is a great fight and then Joe Joyce vs Jennings as well as Liam Williams and Sunny Edwards. Fantastic. As for the 2 main events i'm going for points win for Dubois and Joyce
I can’t see past a Dubois knock out or clear UD over Gorman. I think he has tremendous power and will push Gorman back. Even if he doesn’t stop Gorman, he is likely to start to dominate the rounds and cause Gorman to have to move backwards and put him in a defensive frame of mind.
Gorman for me....think Hatton would have Plan A sussed which has to be to take robot zero personality boxer to the heavy rounds and then slowly box his head off. As long as Gorman stays away from the power shot and lasts over round 6 then he might even stop robot zero personality boxer in round 10/11. However robot zero personality looks like he likes a ding dong scrap but as we have seen recently against a boxer that’s a big gamble cos that quick left hook counter is a game winner most of the time. Also I think robot zero personality might blow out of his bum by round 6 as he’s gone the bulk muscle route as per AJ. Then again Gorman might get sparked in 1 too! Good fight to see whatever happens I think.
Thank fook you posted on here and not tweeted Frankie Warden. With your excitement levels, you should be buying tickets for the O2 mate - yes plenty available without the need to go on Cigstub
I thoroughly recommend you buy the Tyson Fury PPV on BT Box Office this Saturday for a bargain £19.95 (yes 4 pence less than Matchroom Pay per Puddings). Then when you have dipped your toes in the water you can let us know whether you got value for money when you awake on Sunday afternoon.
I don't mind paying for the Gorman/Dubois card because its stacked but that Fury card is a load of ****. Either way I don't mind supporting boxing I love it instead of streaming illegally like you two.
I'm also going on my own due to having no reliable mates, my missus thinks this is weird but I don't really like talking when I'm watching boxing, I'd rather go with people but I'm not. Is that weird?
No. Sitting with casuals also takes the ****, they know **** all. I would meet up, but my work colleague would probably think I'm weird for meeting up with somebody off an internet forum. If you're ever up for doing any other show at the O2, drop me a PM as none of my actual friends are into boxing.
Not really. You love boxing and want to go to watch a good night of fighting, you don't have any reliable friends that you can go with and you don't want to miss out. Nothing wrong with that. If you didn't like boxing and you were going on your own, well that would be weird.
Yeah I find that to be the case too. I struggle to concentrate when watching with mates like when I was watching the Andrade v Sulecki fight at the pub on the weekend. Funnily enough watching boxing with my missus who isn't the biggest of boxing fans is probably the person I prefer to watch it with the most haha.
I get that bro, I'm only really going cos a local boy is on the show, so I'll probably go whenever he boxes, I'll give you a shout next time, he might not be on such a good card next time around tho
