If AJ gets stopped in the rematch with Ruiz, fast car Eddie will most likely throw AJ under the bus. Who will then become his new cash-cow to milk?
Hearn is a smart cookie and has contingency plans in place. Signing Uysk and keeping Whyte on his leash being two of those plans in case AJ slips up in the rematch... the former clearly being the preferred option....
They are already lining up Butasi, making out he's some sort of machine when knocking over journeyman and has been's, very similar to the Joshua blueprint. We know what happens there, could be wrong but the hype is in overdrive.
I agree with Usyk and Whyte. I wouldn't be surprised to see AJ thrown to them either in a big stadium fight in the near future. Usyk will need a few fights to settle in at heavy and build momentum, mind.
Never thought about Whyte been kept on the leash but it makes sense, they have used tbis WBC situation and other rubbish to build him as the feared fighter. Pretty clever really he fights average fighters and doesn good numbers.
